Never Judge

There are so many people
In the world
That are different
From you and me

In today's society
There is so much hate
For people that are out of the norm
But what is normal really?

Everyone has the right to believe
What they want to believe
Without shoving their beliefs
Down someone's throat
Based on a holy book
Or because it's a popular thing

Calling a transgendered person
An abomination
Saying that that's not what
G-d created
How do you know?
Did G-d tell you?

Who are you to put that person down?
Never judge
When it comes to holy scriptures
Each is open to interpretation
And each person understands it differently

This doesn't mean he/she is the only
Right
Never wrong
G-d loves all of His children
Equally

That especially includes those
In the LGBTQ community
It means every label someone
Identifies with or is thrust upon them

Deplorable
Snowflake
Liberal
Republican
Democrat
Alt-right
Alt-left
Independent
Pro-truth
Conspiracy theorist
Believer
Atheist
Alien

If you think someone gave
You the authority to judge
Look inside yourself first
Unless you are perfect
Through and through

You simply have no right
You're not special or holy enough
Discard the self-righteous importance
Because when you claim to be anti-hate
Pro tolerance

Yet you don't see all humans as equals
Regardless of their own personal choices
Then all you really are is a hypocrite
And that's bad for the soul
That you will see in the story of your life
Upon transitioning

Never judge
Always love
Even that which you don't agree with
Or understand
Because your job as a human being
Is getting your own life figured out
Not worry about how others do theirs

If you disagree, that's fine
But being combative about it
Won't serve you well
Earth is the soul's school to learn
Before we all return home

Make sure your journey here is one
You never regret
For you never know when you'll return
To continue your education
Your soul's growth

Making ill-fated judgments on other people
Guarantees a failing grade above
Is that your legacy to earth?
