Chapter Six: Date Night

Zayns POV

The bright lights from outside seemed to light up her face making her eyes sparkle, in this angelic way -honestly at the moment she looked like some goddess, the way her skin glowed at such a dark night, it never failed to astonish me.

The sounds of the faint screaming filled the silence in our car. We were currently parked in a packed parking lot and I was waiting patiently for Lexi to realise just where we were, hopefully she'd like it.

And to my relief she did. I watched with a curious glance as her eyes widened with realisation and she whipped her head over to mine a look of excitement crossed on her face 'we're going to the carnival!!' She exclaimed

I smiled, I loved seeing her happy, it was weird for me to think like this because -well I was the type of man that never went out of his way to make someone happy, but that's all changed when I met Lexi.

From day one I felt this attraction towards her -and not only in physical form, because I couldn't agree more with my fiancé's hot body- but also mentally, I wanted to see her happy, I wanted to make her happy because I felt like it was the need to.

'Yeah, I felt like this is the best place for a first date even though it seems kinda teenish.' I said pulling the key out of the car. What happened next I wasn't expecting as Lexi flung herself at me throwing her arms around my neck and crushing herself against me.

The hugs I seemed to get from her really had a big affect on me, but I was not complaining. I liked her hugs.

'Thank you, thank you, thank you!' She exclaimed then pressed a firm kiss on my cheek. She pulled away shortly excitement still in her eyes and her face a bit flush as mine were. Then she yanked the door open stepping outside.

I was still a daze sitting on my seat and I didn't realise until now how much this women was affecting me. I sucked in a deep breath and I knew tonight would be a hard night trying to keep my hands off her. I mean tonight was one of many nights we'd spend alone without anybody else there, just us.

We hardly ever got alone time, our ride to work was always short and I'd always be too concentrated on driving rather than Lexi, and when we did have lunch together we'd either be surrounded by Derek or Megan or sometimes both, and all we ever talked about was the wedding -so we hardly got "alone time" it was nice to be getting that now.

I stepped out of the escalade pressing the button to lock the doors then turned to see a very anxious Lexi waiting to go in. I smirked and walked towards her just as she intertwined our fingers. My breathing halted and I looked down at our intertwined hands just as Lexi blushed from her unexpected move. I smiled happily and reassuringly squeezed her hand a bit then we walked into the gates of the carnival.

I had heard about this carnival about two weeks ago, when we were small I used to go with my sisters since they loved going to the carnival. Since it was 7pm, there were more people here, couples hand in hand, groups of teenagers huddling around and even little kids running about with a stick of candy floss in hand.

We had gone in so many rides that my feet were sore but I wasn't complaining, I liked this new sort of environment. During these last few weeks I hardly did anything fun, I was always stuck up in work going to meetings and stuff. My father was really pushing me hard as he was going to retire by the end of this year and he wanted me to be up to date with all the business needs.

'Lets go there!' Said Lexi tugging at my hand, that's another good thing about this date, ever since we walked in she had never let go of my hand. It made the smirk on my face spread wider.

We approached a small stall that was hosting a shoot-the-can game. I chucked some money at the guy who gave us an acknowledge nod. Lexi picked up the toy gun and stood with her legs apart a bit. I watched with lustful eyes as I raked her up and down, analysing all her curves that did nothing but made me even more Hornier.

I sighed and looked away, why was my fiancé so good looking. When I had first seen her photo I hadn't realised she'd be this....toned and sexy! But nevertheless I was glad I agreed to get married to her, she was beautiful, sexy, smart and compassionate -something many women hardly have. I was lucky to have her -and I was just realising that.

'Damn it!' Huffed Lexi when none of the cans budged.

I pushed off from my spot against the stall and walked towards her. 'Want some help pumpkin?' I asked standing directly behind her. As soon as she had said yes I had pulled her in my arms. Like today with the pottery making -I had trailed my arms down hers taking my own time. Finally my hands reached hers and I raised the toy gun a little higher aiming at the lower part if the triangle-can-pyramid.

Together we pulled at the trigger and a small bullet shot out from the gun aiming right at the pyramid. We watched as the pyramid toppled over and I smirked -I guess going for those gun classes actually did me well. The whole trick of the game was to shoot the bullet straight at the lower half of the pyramid, in between the middle two cans. That way the pyramid will topple over and you get the job done easily.

Lexi stood still, her mouth open just a teensy bit. She closed it and looked over at me. 'H-how did you do that?' She asked still astonished.

I shrugged 'unknown talent.' I mumbled just as she consumed me in a hug. She pressed a warm kiss on my cheek then pulled away all too quickly to grab the prise -Olaf, the snowman from frozen.

After we had gone on so many rides our feet hurt, and ate so many candy flosses to make us hyper we decided it was time to go back home. I remember walking Lexi to her house and then getting the biggest hug and kiss I've ever got. I swear she hugged me so hard we both nearly tumbled over the stairs.

I could still remember the clean cut of line of our bodies pressed together, the feel of her curves. I just really wanted to kiss her at that moment -and I don't mean a kiss on the cheek or forehead - I mean a kiss on the lips. I wanted to kiss her so hard and show her just how much I feel for her, how much she's getting to me and hopefully I was getting to her.

But unfortunately the moment was ruined when Chloe swung the door open and took one look at us before erupting into squeals. She had even pulled Lexi out of my arms already throwing questions at her.

Lexi shot me a sad-irritated smile and gave me a short wave which I returned before heading back in my car. It was safe to say that I would defiantly be taking her on another date.

This is a short chapter, I know, I know. I guess this one was just a fill in, Lexi and zayn had to go on a date. Sorry it wasn't they good. My brain is completely deprived and exhausted from today but I promised you all I would post a chapter -so here's the chapter.
