"I had a great time at Homecoming!" Anusha cheered as they sat down at their table. Rachael and Dylan glared at her as they set their bags next to their chairs, "What did I do?" Anusha said. At that Josh and Simon also turned their heads and looked at her. Anusha ignored them and looked at Vik, "Did you have a good time?"
"I mean what's worse getting cock-blocked or cock-blocking yourself?" He said quietly as everyone just looked at him confused. Veronica just ignored everyone as they all turned to her and she looked out the window. She saw Lachlan walk past.
Yes, this is a public mall, but she had never seen Lachlan here before, not even once. She patted Dylan, who was next to her, and got her attention. Dylan gave her a confused look and she pointed out the window, "What's Aggie's boy-toy doing here?"
Dylan looked out the window and saw Lachlan walking to the direction of the fountain in the middle of the shopping centre, right outside of the food court. "Should we go investigate?" Dylan asked, turning back around to face Veronica.
"Of course" She smiled standing up slowly. Veronica followed and they both crept towards the door.
"Where's Dylan going?" Simon asked as the door closed.
"Dylan AND Veronica, you mean?" Vik said.
Simon rolled his eyes, "Sure"
Dylan and Veronica hid around the wall and watched Lachlan sit on the wall of the fountain. He wasn't doing anything, just sitting and texting on his phone. He looked like he was waiting for someone, he had to be, why ELSE would he be there?
"The fuck are you two doing?" Someone said behind them. They both stumbled and turned around, seeing Nadeen stood there looking at both of them. When they didn't answer Nadeen looked beyond the wall to what they were staring at, "Are you two stalking Lachlan?!"
"shUSH" Veronica said looking at her, "Yes. Yes we are"
"What. Why?" Nadeen asked confused.
"He's NEVER at the mall, we have to know why he is!" Dylan quickly responded turning around to look over the wall again, "What the FUCK?"
"What? What is it?" Veronica said turning around too and looking. Nadeen came and looked too and they all saw Kara sitting next to Lachlan on the fountain wall. "It's that bitch, Kara" Dylan hissed looking at them.
Kara was laughing and playfully pushing Lachlan. "No way." Nadeen said, "They're dating!"
"Of course! They're dating" Veronica complained, "Why else would LACHLAN be running for Vice President" Nadeen and Dylan turned to her with confused looks, "Hey, you can't say I'm wrong, this is Lachlan we're talking about, the guy who said CHIGACO"
"I see your point" Dylan argreed, turning back to watching them.
They all started watching Kara and Lachlan seemingly flirt. Kara suddenly stopped laughing and said something. Lachlan sat for a second and then replied with a blank face. Kara smiled brightly and cheered, doing a stupid little wave and then skipping off.
"The fuck just happened?" Nadeen asked the other two as they just shrugged, "I don't care, let's just get back to the other-" Nadeen kept speaking as all three of them turned around.
"And what were you three doing?" Tobi asked as they all were completely turned around. "Nothing!" Nadeen shouted, running as Veronica and Dylan looked at Tobi and ran away too. They all got back into the Chipotle as they walked in to Aggie picking up her bag with Simon behind her," "Dylan! My shift is over! Time for practice!" She yelled slinging the bag over her shoulder.
Simon picked up Dylan's bag and handed it to her, "Yeah...let's go"
"Right!" Dylan said taking the bag, "Yep! Let's go!" She, Aggie, Josh, and Simon ran out the doors to the school. "So where did you two go then?" Liz asked as Nadeen and Veronica sat back down.
