"Where's Veronica?" Liz asked, "She isn't supposed to be tutoring Equation today."
"How do you know?" Josh asked.
"She memorized the schedule," Dylan answered, "So she'd know when and when not Veronica would be with Quadratic Equation."
"Good Christ," Vik muttered, he looked over and saw Rachael glaring at him. "What?"
"Could you pull down your shirt a little?" Rachael asked him and he laughed uncomfortably. "I'm serious."
"Okay?" Vik said and pulled the collar of his shirt down slightly. Rachael scoffed. "What?" He asked again. "What did I do?"
"You took off your necklace?" She asked, making sure no one else could hear. Only her and Simon knew that Vik was Veronica's secret Santa. "The little star that matched Veronica's?"
"Yeah?" Vik answered, "It got uncomfortable."
"You... are a fucking dick."
The rest of the group didn't hear the conversation as they were too busy figuring out where Veronica was. No one had a clue until Simon spoke up.
"She's sick," Simon said, "She's been sick all week. Hasn't left her room."
"Well," Lewis said, "That's a lie. I saw her the other day. She was fine."
"She felt last week was too centered around her so she drank a bunch of soap and made herself sick," Simon said, "I promise you. She's sick." (something i actually did to get sick in real life btw)
"Must've been my healing powers," Lewis shrugged.
"She did what?" Anusha asked.
"Chugged soap."
Anusha stared off in a random direction. "Don't do this at home kids."
"Well that's one problem solved," Liz said, moving on from the soap drinking friend as swiftly as they could. "We have a new one."
"Already?" Harry groaned, "Can we just not have a problem for one day?"
"No," They all answered.
"What's the problem?" Josh asked.
"It's officially time for the SideThots to pick a side in the JJ v. Quadeca war," Liz said.

Season Two Episode Nine: Pick A Side
"We all know who I'm choosing," Liz said and kicked her feet up on the table.
"You mean the dude who hit Veronica with sixteen tennis balls in P.E last week?" Simon asked her.
"Look," She said, "If I was judging my decision based on personality I wouldn't pick anyone."
"But you're-"
"Shhh."
"Wait," Josh said, "Since we're like a group, shouldn't we make the decision collectively?"
"Hell no," Liz answered quickly, "No way we'd come to an agreement."
"That's pretty true," Anusha agreed, "We'd have too much of an influence if we all picked one side anyways."
"I'm on the fence," Lewis declared, "I need to be convinced."
"Well JJ wrote 'pick my side or be a bitch' on Veronica's backpack, so there's some propaganda I guess," Dylan told him and Lewis looked over.
