3- "Mia, what happened to Zoe?"

The alarm starts ringing.

Ava wakes up with a start. She rubs her eyes and looks around her bedroom a smile breaks into her face after she sees the drawing. Her eyes scan the room.

Next to her was a drawer where she kept her plant that she adored. Ever since she was a little kid, she loved the idea of nature, greenery, and plants.

She always fantasized about her first date being in the midst of beautiful flowers and green grass everywhere and how she would lay on the shoulders of her love as the sunset beyond the mountains. The thought of that gave her goosebumps.

She turns right and lets out a small giggle looking at the funny polaroids of her friends hung on the decor lights.

She puts her feet on the ground and feels the chill of the wooden floor travel throughout her body.

She walks over to her calendar and saw the date.

28th February.. the day of my birthday! And the concert! I hope a fun day is waiting ahead, she thinks.

She briskly walks to the bathroom and faces herself.

She sees her gentle eyes staring back at her. Her soft lips made any guy fall for her, let alone her cute and small nose.

She snaps out of her thoughts and quickly takes a shower, brushes her teeth, and goes down for breakfast.

She was alone yet again. Her parents were always overseas attending some meeting or the other.

Them coming once in 3 months itself was surprising enough.

She lazily makes her way to the kitchen and to the refrigerator.

She opens it and her eyes grow wide as she saw chocolates. Eating chocolates was her guilty pleasure.

She reaches to get a glass bowl and pours some milk and adds fruit loops.

She grabs a chocolate and walked to her dining table.

She set the bowl neatly on the table and clasps her phone tightly in her left hand while her right hand played with the spoon.

She was expecting tons of wishes today but then her hopes were crashed as soon as she found out that her own parents did not wish her.

She kicks that thought away because either way, it's not like they remembered her birthday every year.

She logs on to her Instagram account and starts scrolling through her homepage.

She stalks her friend's profile for a bit and came across Zoe's and Mia's post.

The caption read "Excited for BTS's CONCERT TODAY #BTS #ARMY"

She double taps on the picture and comments, "OH HELL YEAH GIRLS!!"

But she was a little disappointed because they had not wished her for her birthday.

They forgot MY birthday. How.......the people who I loved keep disappointing me one by one.....Nah Ava stop! Don't go wild with your thoughts. They will probably surprise you or something.

With that thought in her mind, she puts her phone away and starts eating.

She checks the clock. 10:01 am.

When is the fan sign meeting and the concert? She wondered.

I'll call up Mia and Zoe and ask them.

She grabs her phone and searched

"Poop"

Zoe's number came up.

She clicked on 'Call' and the tring tring started.

Tring tring...

Tring tring...

Tring tring...

Tring tring.....

She felt her heartbeat faster with each ring.

Tring tring.....

Tring tring...

Her heart started racing.

Tring tring...

She sighed with frustration and fear.

She tried calling Mia. She searched

"Asshole"

Mia's number came up and she called her.

After two rings, she picked up.

"WHY DIDN'T ZOE PICK HER FREAKING PHONE? I WAS SO WORRIED! WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW?" Ava screamed.

"Av-v-va....." Mia's voice stammered and cracked. It seemed like she was crying.

"Wait, Mia? Why are you crying? Is something wrong? What happened?" Ava was extremely worried.

"Ava, Z-o-zo- e, at th-t-the h-ho-osp-it-t-tal.'"

She said that in between sobs so Ava had to take some time to process what Mia just said.

After getting the message clear, Ava was super confused....why would Zoe be at the hospital? She was totally fine when I talked to her yesterday night...

"Mia what happened to Zoe?" Ava demanded.

Mia's voice seemed a little calm now and replied. "I have completely no idea. We were just talking and then suddenly she had a seizure or something similar."

Now Ava was bewildered...what...how..

"Where are you right now?"

"At the hospital near our house."

"Okay, I will be there in a few minutes."

Saying so she grabbed her jacket and car keys and rushed out.
