Chapter 52

"I'll be there by tonight, I swear," I promise Namjoon as I get ready. "The boys haven't seen you for a day and they already miss you," He replies. "They're being dramatic," I state, as I jump into my borrowed, black leggings.

"No, for real," He replies. "They keep asking for you like children. It's really hard to manage," He says with a sigh.

"You guys like me that much?" I chuckle. "Shut up and get your ass here as quickly as you can."

Before he hangs up, I say, "I got my nails done, by the way. They look gorgeous," I excitedly tell him, while admiring the purple nails on my left hand.

"Can't wait to see them," He replies in the same enthusiasm. "You bet," I laugh.

"Love you, bye," I say as I leave Samara's room. "Love you too," He says and hangs up.

I stuff my phone in the denim jacket, that I'm wearing over a leopard striped tube top. "Sam, I'm ready to go!" I loudly announce, walking into the living room.

Samara's still sitting on the couch, in pajamas with her bed hair, curled up in a ball below the blanket.

"What're you doing?" I ask her, throwing my hands in the air. "Why are you so loud and chirpy so early in the morning?" She lazily asks.

"It's literally 10 am," I flatly tell her. She shrugs. "Still early," I walk towards her and forcefully push her into the shower.

"I'll pick out your outfit," I scream. She mumbles something and I open her closet, the second time in the day.

I pick out a huge, fluffy yellow hoodie and black ripped jumpsuit jeans. Proud with my choice, I neatly set them on her bed and walk out.

She finally comes out after 20 minutes. "Where are we going anyway?" She asks, high spirited. How she became so cheerful, I'll never know.

"Now that we're done with the lyrics, we have to record it, book a dance studio to practice in, and meet up with producers to shoot the video."

"Why can't we just use the dance studio in the building?" Sam asks, biting into a carrot. "Oh, they didn't tell you?" I ask as I grab an apple. "No," She replies, munching.

"They're renovating all the dance rooms. Only the one that BTS is using is available and we obviously can't use that because they'll have to use it," She slowly nods as she listens.

"Can we use the recording room at least?" She asks. "Yeah, hold on, I'll make sure," I quickly dial our manager's number.

"Hi Ava," He greets on the third ring. "Hi, so I called to ask you if we can use the recording room today?"

"One minute," He says and puts me on hold. Sam raises her eyebrows at me. "Told me to wait," I tell her. "Ava?" Haejin calls.

"Yeah?" I ask. "Yeah, it's free today," He replies. "Cool, thanks. Bye!" I tell him and he cuts the call.

"He said we can use it. So first we'll head back to the building, record the song and go to a studio tomorrow," I tell her.

"I know one studio that's like half an hour from here," She says. "Hold on, I'll call them to ask if they have a free room for tomorrow,"

She takes out her phone and dials their number. I stand in front of the fridge, point at it, and look at Sam.

"Hi, I'm Samara," She says on the phone while nodding at me. I happily clap and open the fridge to look at my breakfast options.

Are we feeling healthy today or Nah?

I think really hard before grabbing a transparent box, filled with greens and chicken. Samara continues talking on the phone, as I squeeze the lemon evenly.
