32- "So do you like Kian?"

Chapter 32

We stay in the same position for a few more minutes before he pulls off. He puts his hand under my chin and lifts it up to face him. "I'm so sorry Ava. For everything I did. What I did is childish and I should have handled things in a more mature way. I was just really worried about the auditions. Anyway, there's no excuse that's going to make it right but I hope you forgive me."

I smile. "It's okay Tae. It happens,"

We both then go back inside and talk about the audition process even more. The plan, for now, is that we won't practice anymore from today and just take some time off. 

Maybe spend some time with our families and friends because God knows when we'll come back home. 

Tae and I got more time to bond and it finally felt like things were going back to the way they were. For the rest of the day, we just kept fooling around and laughing.

We went to Burger King to get some lunch and Tae was on my right while Jimin was on my left. The two kept stealing my fries and me being the possessive bitch I am, when their burgers were served I quickly snatched it from their plates and ran away with it.

It was almost 5 in the evening and we all decided to split ways. Zoe, Mia, and I decided to have a sleepover at my house and spend the next day together with Ethan and Leo. Since mom dropped me at the studio this morning none of us had a car so we took a cab back home.

"Today was fun," Mia says as I unlock the door, and Zoe and I nod.

"Hey girls!" Dad exclaims as we enter. Mom and dad are sitting on the kitchen counter and eating some sandwiches. We all hug them and make our way to my room. 

We shower one by one and once we're all done showering, we turn on the TV, and fortunately, Brooklyn 99 was going on. 

This is one of my favorite shows and it never fails to make me smile after a long and tiring day.

"I'm going to miss Leo," Mia says, out of the blue. "Oh we know," Zoe says with a laugh.

Mia looks at me with a confused face and I shrug. "You knew too?!"

"It's kind of hard not to miss." I joke. "Shit do you think Leo noticed too?" She asks with her face scrunched.

"I'm sure he likes you too," Zoe says. "He'd be an asshole to not like you," I add.

Mia doesn't reply and continues staring at nothing in particular.

"When I'm with him, I feel happy. And safe. He makes me want to be the best version of myself and if I'm having a bad day, he's always there for me. He's always supporting me in everything I do. He accepts me for who I am. But I don't know how to tell this all to him. I don't even know if he feels the same way about me." She sighs.

"Aww, come here," I tell her. She scoots over and puts her head on my shoulder and wraps her arm around my waist. I hug her sideways and run my fingers through her hair.

"I'll go get some ice cream hold on," Zoe says and walks out of the room

My phone goes off and I grab it from the nightstand.
