Chapter 10
Ava's POV
Ethan and I walked back to the concert hall, talking and laughing. Every time Ethan made a joke and we laughed at it, I couldn't help but admire how amazing he looked and thought if anybody in the world could look this perfect.
I didn't know how stupid I looked while staring at him because Ethan suddenly asked, "Ava are you listening to me?"
"Huh? Yeah yeah I - I am. Of course, I am." I stuttered.
He smirked and replied, "I can say you aren't good at lying."
"Well, I mean if you suddenly ask someone something when they are seriously listening, then obviously they would stutter. It's not like I'm lying or anything." I said while trying to defend myself.
Ethan smirked yet again and said, "You proved that you're not a good liar for the 2nd time."
"Is it that obvious? I thought I didn't make it that obvious though!" I pulled my hair out of frustration.
Ethan laughed out loud patted my head. "Okay so tell me, why were you staring me like a 3-year old staring at candies?"
"Huh? What in the world? Did I look that bad? Oh come on, I'm pretty sure it wasn't that bad." I said.
"Haha, you looked cute." He said while deeply looking into my eyes. I continued looking at him just as how he did, or rather more dreamily.
And then, he came closer and held my face with his hands and turned his head to kiss me. I looked to the ground for a few seconds. My heart started beating really fast and so did my breathing rate. "Ethan I -"
Before I could finish my sentence, he pressed his lips to mine. I opened my eyes wide while he just continued to kiss me. I tried to move away, but he was too strong and I couldn't move an inch. I knew that trying harder would take me nowhere. So, I kissed him back. And I shouldn't lie but I enjoyed kissing after all.
After a few seconds, he pulled back and smiled. I didn't know how to react and awkwardly looked away, swallowing hard. Ethan softly said, "You look beautiful even when you're awkward. There isn't a time when you don't look pretty."
Don't make me blush," I said and fastened my pace. He ran to me and grabbed my wrist and said, "Okay okay, I'm not saying anything. Happy?"
I smiled and turned. " Not yet sweet pea." He sang.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You still didn't tell me why you were staring at me."
" Don't you already know?"
"Nope. Tell me." He replied.
"Okay fine! You just looked really amazing."
"Amazing? Is that the word Ava?" He asked.
"You look hot today!" I admitted.
"I know." I rolled my eyes and muttered an ugh and walked away disappointed.
"Ava! Come here! I'm joking."
I turned back and asked, "You were?" He nodded. "Okay whatever," I said and continued walking. He came to my side and held my hand as we walked.
Throughout our conversation, I felt really happy because for once there would actually be someone listening to my rants and complaints, and to someone, I can just be my weird self without getting judged.
While doing so, I really doubted my decision and I kept feeling like I had done wrong but I kicked it off because it didn't make sense after what all had happened.
After we went back, Leo asked, "Where did you go, and what took you so long?" Ethan and I looked at each other's face and I replied, "Zoe and Mia listen to me." They looked back with their brows raised.
"Okay, guys! Confession time. Ethan and I are dating." I said. The second I said that all of them widened their eyes and screamed, "What the actual hell?"
"Yep," Ethan said while smiling.
Before anyone could say anything people started screaming and when we looked up, BTS was on stage.
They soon started performing No More Dream and my voice drowned in the sound of many other ARMYs.
