"Dude but I honestly thought Bella would get selected," I say, pretty bummed out. "She was so happy all the time." I smile as I think about all the times she was running around like a little kid and making us all laugh.
"She has amazing control over her voice." Mia sighs as she rests her head on Jimin's lap.
Zoe, Mia, Sadie, Samara, and I got through, meaning we're going to debut soon. I remembered Sang-Chul saying that we'll debut on June 13. It's already April and having a debut in 2 months seems almost impossible.
And plus it's not like we were trainees or anything. Usually, trainees will have to train from months to years before they debut. Despite this, there are some people who don't even debut!
"But at least Esme or Naomi didn't get selected," Zoe curtly says as she's laying down next to Kook.
"You have a thing against Esme?" Tae laughs, looking at me.
"Ahem," Kook clears his throat. I give him a short stare before turning my attention to Tae. "Not really, she was just a little annoying during practice," I make up an excuse. There's no way I'm telling him the truth.
"Ava, didn't you say just two days earlier that she helped you walk to the car when your foot was injured?" Kook asks, acting all innocent with his beady eyes. "I even remember you saying that she changed from the first time you met her."
"Nope." I simply say and shake my head but I was mentally cursing the shit out of him. He smiles a little in victory before escaping my subtle frown.
Thankfully, Tae doesn't ask any more questions but I feel like he already knows the real reason.
We stay in the room for a couple more hours talking about random things. Apparently there are rumors going around that Jungkook is dating some girl he is going to school with and Zoe is not having it.
As much as she denies that she didn't have a crush or a thing for him, it's obvious, at least to me, that she has a soft spot for him. Let's be honest here, it's hard to not crush on Kook, especially when he's that close to you.
Hell, we were all obsessed with him when we were in Singapore miles away. Now that they're right here, how you can not fall in love with this fine man?

The same goes for Mia and Jimin. Jimin defends Mia every chance he gets, always calls her pretty, which she definitely is, supports her, and encourages her and whenever she felt like she wasn't good enough.
Jimin would always stand by her and walk her through her insecurities. I've never seen Mia being so open about things even to Leo.
See that's the thing. Even if initially Mia didn't like Jimin, she's bound to like him eventually because Jimin's always around taking care of her and being so sweet, not to mention very, very good-looking too with a beautifully sculpted body. It's only natural to fall for his charm, to be honest.
