36- Airport, South Korea and Head Manager

Chapter 36

15th March

We're all at the airport, anxiously waiting for the announcement of our plane. Ethan, Leo, and Oliver should be here any minute. Mom and Dad couldn't make it to the airport because they had left last night. They wished me luck and said that no matter what the results are, I should be happy I gave it a shot. 

Mia and Zoe went to get something to eat so that leaves me with the boys. Suga is sitting next to me while the other boys were just playing around. 

All of them wore masks and some of them wore sunglasses. Jungkook was wearing a bucket hat too. He looked hot nonetheless.

I start shaking my leg and tap my fingers on my thigh. Suga noticed this and placed his hands on mine. I looked up to him. "You'll be okay." He says with his signature gummy smile and instantly made me feel better. 

Zoe and Mia came back with some granola bars and M&Ms. I grab the M&M packet from Zoe's hand and popped one in my mouth. The chocolate melts in my mouth and I moan from satisfaction.

"That's sexy."

I quickly turn my head and it's none other than Tae himself.

How unpredictable.

I don't pay attention to him and continue to stuff my face with M&Ms. I have no time to deal with him. I look down at my watch, worried that the boys, Ethan especially was still not here.

"Babe," someone calls.

"Ethan!" I exclaim and hug him tightly.

"You okay there?" He chuckles and rubs my back.

"I was worried you wouldn't come," I say softly, feeling at comfort because of the warmth of his body.

"Of course, I would. It's a big day for you." He kisses my hair.

"I'm going to miss you," I mumble, as my face rests on his chest. "I'm going to miss you too," He says.

We sit down and I put my head on his shoulder. I doze off after some time, only to have Ethan wake me up.

"Hey, you got to go now." He says with a smile. "I don't want to," I say slowly and put my arms around his waist.

"Ava," He chuckles. "What?"

"It's only a few weeks." He slowly says, holding my hands. "I'll be here to pick you up when you come back."

I get my suitcase from the seat and wear my coat. I look at Ethan sadly and sigh. "Come here," He says and opens his arm. I hug him tightly and a tear rolls down my cheek. He pulls back and wipes the tear with his thumb. "I'll call you every day." He smiles and ruffles my hair.

I hug Leo and he whispers, "You got this," in my ear, and flashes a bright smile. Oliver pulls me into a hug too. "Kick some ass," He says and I nod. 

"Bye, y'all." I wave at them and look at Ethan one last time and he nods. Zoe and Mia do the same. I turn back and walk away from them.

"I'll take care of you, don't worry," Tae tells me with a smile and squeezes my hand. "I know," I quietly reply.

We get into our seats and put on our seatbelts. I have the window seat and that makes me feel better. Mia sits in the middle and Zoe to the extreme right. 

Things are still a little awkward with Zoe and Jungkook after the mall encounter. The boys are sitting behind us, being loud as always.

Oh, and did I mention, we were in the business class and nobody else was in that coach except for the 10 of us?
