Chapter 9

BTS POV

The staff bowed and left.

Namjoon headed to where the guys were and announced "Okay guys hear up. A staff informed us that our event will be delayed because of some technical errors or something, which means more time to practice."

"And more time to play.' Taehyung added and winked at Jungkook. " Aish you little kids."

 Jhope cringed.

AVA' S POV

We soon reached our destination and hurriedly made our way, only to find out that the concert has been delayed.

We entered the huge auditorium, filled with thousands of people screaming and singing. We were surprised because nobody was performing nor was any music being played. We made our way to our places. I was happy with where our seats were because it wasn't in the front, not at the back and we could perfectly see the members when they arrived.

I turned to my left and I saw a girl with a fair complexion and pink hair. She was wearing something in white. I didn't bother to see what she was wearing and poked her arm. She turned towards me, with her eyebrows raised.

"Hey um, I really sorry for poking you but why isn't BTS on stage?" I politely asked. She smiled and replied "Oh no it's fine. The poking part I mean. And BTS isn't on stage because apparently, something's wrong with the mic." She finished.

"Ah! That explains it. Thanks!" I said. "Anytime." she smiled and went back to her business.

'Oh my god. All that hurrying for nothing. I told you, Ava! We shouldn't have worried so much about being late.' Leo ranted.

'Well, you can't really blame me. Who knew that it would be delayed?' I tried to defend myself.

'Leo don't blame Ava.' Ethan looked at Leo with a serious face.

Before Leo could react, I snapped "I was talking to Leo and not you."

Ethan looked at me like he was hurt. His eyes looked teary but I wasn't so sure. I felt a slight tug from beneath my heart.

Honestly, I didn't even know why I was that mad. Maybe I am just overreacting and maybe I should just apologize. Ahh dammit, I shouldn't have snapped at Ethan like that. I continued to stare at the bare, black floor.

I finally looked up at Ethan, but I couldn't find him anywhere. My eyes searched for him but in vain. My brows corrugated and I was really worried.

What if he left because I was too mean? I turned back to Leo. "Where did he go?" I asked. "Who, your lovely boyfriend?" he teased.

I sighed and replied, "Leo for the gazillionth time, I don't like him. How many times do I need to tell it to you until it gets into your pea-sized brain?" I annoyingly replied.

"Forever~" Leo smiled.

"Leo, what the hell? First, tell me where he went." I pleaded and made a babyface.

He let out a giggle and pointed to the exit. "What the....." I said and excused myself saying that I'll be back in a minute.

I ran out, as fast as I could and was relieved to find out that our car was still here, meaning Ethan hadn't left.

I turned my head to the right and saw a lone figure walking like he's given up with everything. At once I knew that it was Ethan and sprinted towards him.

At a distance of about 20 meters, he turned back to see me sprinting. He didn't react much. I finally stopped and bent and breathed heavily. After a good 20 seconds of breathing, I finally straightened my back and faced him. I looked up at his eyes. They were filled with tears.
