Chapter 9 (Really short boring chapter)

Logans POV:
We got to Jakes house and I see police cars around. I run inside, worrying about what happened. I open the door, and see Emma sitting on the couch.
"Emma! You scared me!" I say and open my arms for a hug.
"Sorry, but you were the one that yelled at me." She says, and puts her phone down.
"I know, and I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you run away." I say, as I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Mr. Paul?" A man asks, and I turn around. It was a police officer, about 5'6, with dark skin, and buzz cut hair.
"Y-yes sir?" I ask.
"Your daughter filed a complaint of someone stalking her. The suspect sent her a text message, and we are trying to trace the number, but it seems to be blocking us. Whoever sent this, they know what they're doing." The man said. My heart pounds so much, I feel it's going to fly out of my chest. I look at Emma, who looks like she just saw a ghost, then back at the officer.
"May I see the text?" I ask. The police officer walks over to Emma and says,
"May I see your phone, sweetie?"
"Sure whatever." She says and hands it to him. He opens her texts and looks for the number. For some reason, She hasn't deleted it. He hands me her phone and I look at the text in horror. I think about earlier today, and grab my phone out of my pocket. Damn..I deleted the number.
I go into 'add contact' and type out the number off of Emma's phone. I tap on it and it shows up the messages.
"I got a text from the same number earlier today...I didn't think anything about it, but now I'm starting to worry." I say to the police officer.
"Okay thank you sir. We are going to go back to the station to research files, print documents, and try to figure out who this person is. We will call you if we find anything." The man says, and waves goodbye. "Let's go boys!" The officer yells, and other officers come out from everywhere. They all walk out the door, and leave.
"Well, we might as well stay here tonight." Emma says and walks up to me.
"No." I say.
"What?! Why not?" She asks.
"Because, the person knows that you're here, and I don't want you to get hurt, so let's go." I say. She agrees and we all hop into the car. Before we leave, I mouth the words, "thank you." To Kade. He smiles and nods his head.
We drop off Mark, George, and Johannas, at their place, then drop off Alissa. After, we go back to the apartment. Emma goes straight to bed on the couch, as well as I do in my bed. It's been a crazy day, for both of us, and so long too. But, tomorrow is a new day, and maybe things will go a little better. And, I have a surprise for Emma. I think she'll love it.
A/N: HEY YOU! YOU THERE! I SEE YOU OVER THERE! 😂jk but seriously, I'm really upset right now because I just found out that Jake isn't gonna get his Lambo! 😭 Honestly the people that run that company are jerks! (If u don't know wut I'm talking about, watch Jakes vlog 9/26/17) oh and Congrats Logan for hitting 12 mil!
What will tomorrow hold for Emma? Who is the creepy person that texted her? What is Logans surprise? You will find out soon! :) AND IK THIS WAS A REALLY SHORT CHAPTER, BUT I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS FOR THE NEXT ONE SO YEA BYE NOW 😂
