"So Noah, how was growing up with Mimi and PopPop?" I ask, sipping my hot chocolate.
"Not all that good. They're wealthy and expect me to be some sorta prince. But that's not me. I'm not intellectual or a prosperous person. I'm not who they expect me to be, and that's why they kicked me out." Noah explains.
"Well you seem pretty smart to me. I've never used intellectual or prosperous in a sentence in my whole life. And you're nine!" I exclaim.
"Yeah, they put me in a stupid class. For vocabulary. It was the dumbest thing I've ever done." He says.
"So what other things did they make you do?" I ask.
"Well I learned French. They made me take classes for my manners, or whatever. I had to act like a gentleman all the time and I'm glad I get to slack a bit." He admits.
"I bet. I don't think I could've been as strong as you are." I say. My phone chimes and it's a text from Daniel. My eyes widen as I look at the text with a toothy smile. My smile dies when I read the text.
My eyes felt heavy as water filled them. Stupid tears. Go away. Go away! I don't want to cry!
"Emma, are you okay?" Noah asks.
"Yeah, Yeah, I'm fine. Just boy problems." I sniffle.
"Who's your boyfriend?" He asks.
"Daniel Seavey." I say and wipe a tear from my cheek.
"Like, THE Daniel Seavey?!" He asks. I nod my head as I turn off my phone.
"Well...what happened?" Noah asks as he takes a drink of his tea.
"He thinks I cheated on him...which I didn't. Liam's just my friend." I mumble.
"Well, I believe you." He says and places his hand on mine.
"Thanks. Anyways, I'm going to get dressed because I look like a mess. Maybe Logan can take you around in the Yeti." I say as I walk over to a bag of clothes.
"Oh okay." He says.
A few minutes later, Logan and Noah go out to bond for a while. I'm home alone again. Luckily, Zach didn't tell Logan about me cutting myself last night. I'd be screwed. I get dressed in this:

I leave my hair down and put on a little bit of makeup that Lydia gave me. I'm not sure why I'm getting dressed up. I have no one to impress. My phone starts buzzing and I ignore it. I don't want to deal with whoever that is. It ends, then rings again. I look at the contact. Zach. I send him a quick text message.
Emma😊🤙🏻: I can't talk to u anymore srry
Rose🙂🌹: Did Daniel say that?
Emma😊🤙🏻: Maybe
Rose🙂🌹: screw him. I mean, I love him to death, but he can't keep doing this to u. :(
Emma😊🤙🏻: Zach, I'm fine. Just try not to make Daniel mad.

I put my phone down and sigh. I can't even talk to my best friend anymore because I'm so scared Daniel will get mad. Why? I don't know. He's the one that broke up with me. Just thinking that made me go into tears. Daniel broke up with me...
I decide to get some fresh air and walk down to Hollywood Boulevard after texting Logan and saying that I'm going. I walk down the somewhat busy sidewalk and look at the many stores beside me. As I'm walking, I see a cute barber shop through one of the windows. I peek inside and see someone I didn't want to see: Daniel. He was getting a haircut when he spot me. Both of our eyes went wide as I teared up. I continued walking as a few tears left my eyes.
Narrators POV:
Daniel and Emma both tried desperately to forget about each other, but their minds wouldn't let them. Emma cried over her first love, and first heart break. Daniel cried over the fact that he couldn't do anything about it. He was being blackmailed, forced to let Emma out of his life. None of the other boys knew, other than Jack. That's why he was so aggressive...someone was threatening them and they didn't know what to do about it. Daniel hated the fact that Emma was hurting, but if he told her what was going on, the person threatening him would take all of the money out of every band members' bank accounts including their families. Emma went home later and cried about Daniel. She hated crying over someone who shouldn't make her cry, but she loved Daniel, and now she felt like their love was fake. Jack tried to locate the anonymous blackmailer, but could never find any trace of him/her: Corbyn and Jonah were oblivious any of this had happened, and was just told that Emma cheated on Daniel. Zach knew something was going on, but didn't want anyone to get hurt. All he could do was comfort Emma and Daniel as much as he could.

A/N: Wow. Just wow. Guys I have freaking 1k reads. I NEVER expected that to happen with this book. Honestly, I started this book with doubts, but the more I wrote, the better I thought it was. Some chapters suck, but that's just a downside of writing. I have bad days, but I redeem myself with really good chapters the next day. Anyways, I just want to say thanks. For everything.
