Chapter 26

Emma's POV:
I lay on my bed waiting for Logan to call me. He said he'd FaceTime me in an hour an hour and a half ago. It's not surprising though. He's always late to things.

"Hey babe, lets go." Daniel says and opens my door:

"But Logan hasn't called me yet." I say.

"I know, but I promised my brother I'd drive him to the airport today." Daniel says.

"Okay, I'm coming." I say as I unplug my phone from its charger. We get into his car and start driving. I sigh and look out the window.

"What's wrong?" Daniel asks.

"I'm sad I have to leave tomorrow. I liked hanging out with you guys." I explain.

"Me too. A lot can happen in two weeks." He says and places his hand on my thigh.

"What are you guys going to do after I leave?" I ask.

"The day after you leave, we are going to Las Vegas. We're going to go have fun and hang out there." Daniel says.

"That should be fun." I say.

"Yeah. I wish you could come, But Logan probably wouldn't let you go." Daniel says. I nod in agreement and look out the window until we get to the hotel his brother is at. Daniel calls him to come to the car then we wait.

"So which brother is this?" I ask looking through Instagram on my phone.

"Tyler. He's our Road Manager, and he is flying back home for a few days, then flying back to meet us in Las Vegas." Daniel explains.

"I'm excited to meet him." I say and grin. I turn my head to the right and see a guy walking out of the hotel with a Why Don't We shirt on. I tap Daniels shoulder to get his attention. By the time he finally looks up from his phone, Tyler is already at the car.

"Hey bro. Thanks for doing this." He said and gently hit Daniels arm.

"No problem." Daniel says and starts to drive off. I look at him for a minute or so until he finally looks at me. It takes him a minute to get he hint.

"Oh, uh Tyler, this is Emma. She's...my girlfriend." Daniel says as he turns onto the highway.

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend. Why am I just now hearing about this?" Tyler asks.

"Because no one knows unless they saw the video." Daniel says.

"Oh I saw that video. Everyone thinks it's a rumor, or just an old video. Some people say it was just to promote Ed Sheeran's song." Tyler says.

"Well it's not, but I'm glad everyone thinks that. I don't want everyone to hate Emma." Daniel says.

"Why would they hate me?" I ask.

"Because some fans are obsessive, and don't want any of us to date anyone. Other than Corbyn and Christina. Everyone loved them, but they broke up. It's weird, everyone still thinks they are together, because they never told anyone they broke up. Except us five, his parents, and now Tyler." Daniel says.

"If they were good fans, they would be happy for you." I say.

"That's what you'd think, but no." Daniel says in a sad tone as he turns into the parking lot of the airport. We get out with him and direct him to his gate. The light-up board above the desk a lady is sitting at says, "Los Angeles, California to Vancouver, Washington." The lady comes over the loud speaker and tells everyone to board.

"Well I better get going." Tyler says as he stands up from his seat. Tyler and Daniel hug and then Tyler glances at me and says, "It was nice to meet you."

"You too." I say. Once I turn around from looking at Tyler vanish onto the plane, Daniel grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him.

"I love you so much." Daniel says and kisses me.

"Where is this coming from?" I giggle and lay my head on his chest.

"I just want to constantly remind you how loved you are." He says and kisses me, but longer this time.

"GET OFF OF HER!" I hear a voice yell. I turn my head and see someone I least expected.
