"Chief Pauline! Here's our newest addition," the guards handling Daisy shouted.

"Just leave her here," The chief licked her lips. "Hmm... Looks particularly uninteresting. Are you sure she belongs here?"

"That's what the reports say," the guards told her.

"Alright. You're dismissed." Pauline told them. The guards quickly left the room, Daisy shivering in the corner. Handcuffs had been placed on her wrists, and she wished they were off.

"Daisy Sarasaland... How interesting," Pauline mused. "Attended Mushroom High school... And they're sure you belong here?"

"I don't! All I did was steal!" Daisy took the opportunity of her freedom. "Please, get me out of here! It was a stupid mistake. I don't deserve to be here...!"

"Oh, but you do," the chief looked through the rest of her notes. "Kaira! Take her to her cell. And goodness, get those awful handcuffs off her."

"...got it."

A red haired female with long hair and red eyes appeared. She was wearing a mid-sleeve length crop top and white shorts. She held a katana in each hand, with a sheath at her side and another on her back. She was also wearing a black jacket with knives on the inside and black boots.

"...don't move," Kaira told her. In one swift movement, Kaira sliced the chain between the handcuffs. Daisy trembled in fear.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Stop wasting our handcuffs like that," Pauline sighed. "Oh well. Make it a new fashion statement, I suppose."

"...It's so much easier this way."

"And much more irritating, considering I have to take them off," Pauline said irritably. Kaira roughly walked to Daisy, shoving her forward roughly so Pauline could unlock her handcuffs.

"Alright. Take her to her cell- and don't kill anyone on the way there," Pauline instructed, crossing her legs. "Otherwise..."

"...I know. There's no need to remind me," Kaira told her. "Let's go, newbie."

The two walked side by side awkwardly. Daisy didn't dare try to start up conversation- she was far too scared.

"Here you are. Let me remind you that the metal wristband around your wrist is unremovable. It is a way of identification... And a way to keep you in check," Kaira told her. "Goodbye."

With that, Kaira roughly shoved Daisy in the cell and slammed the door on her. She could hear the lock turning.

"...all I did was shoplift!" Daisy raged. "Why am I here!? That's such a minor crime! I don't deserve to be here with criminals, and murderers... I just- I just don't!"

"What lie...did they tell..you?"

"Huh?"

Daisy turned around to see a tall platinum blonde haired girl lounging on her bed. She wore a long blue gown with a silver crown on her head.

"I asked you what lie...they told you," The girl continued. "They told me...that I was just put here to fix my behavior..."

"W-w-What?" Daisy stammered. "Isn't this a prison?"

"Hah...Prison? I guess...it is a pretty accurate term," the girl sighed. "You seriously....don't know yet? They...didn't explain?"

"No... Who even are you?" Daisy questioned.

"Oh, pardon me...for not explaining," The girl apologized. Bowing her head in a mock curtsey, she answered. "My name is Rosalina. This isn't...technically a prison."

"Then.. What is it?" Daisy asked nervously. She chewed on her nails- a bad habit of hers.

"It's a facility keeping all of us in...It's 'protecting the outside...world from us,'" Rosalina mocked. "But... It's just for their amusement... I'm rather surprised... You've never heard of this place before...We're all... Apparently extremely dangerous individuals... Who need to be quarantined... I mean, it's technically not a lie.."

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"...I honestly.. Can't believe they never told you... Do you have some sort of birthmark..?"

"Yeah, right here." Daisy pointed to her shoulder. A small flower shaped birthmark lay on her shoulder.

"Come here," Rosalina directed, and Daisy looked at Rosalina, noting the small star birthmark on Rosalina's hand.

Daisy slowly walked towards the girl, cautious.

In one quick second, Rosalina quickly took off her crown, digging the sharp edge into the birthmark. Daisy yelped, struggling to get away, but in another moment, she found herself entrapped in what felt like a black hole.

Her shoulder was now bleeding where the birthmark is, and Daisy snarled as she was able to move again.

"How dare you-!" Daisy launched herself at Rosalina, only to be pushed back by a galaxy-looking comet coming from the girl's hands. Daisy fell against the wall, curling into a ball and extremely confused.

"You... Should be thanking me.." Rosalina placed the crown into her head. "I just unlocked yours.."

"What the hell was that..?" Daisy asked, referring to the thing that came from Rosalina's hands. "How..?"

"...by injuring your birthmark, I've unlocked your power..." Rosalina answered. "You've witnessed mine... This is the real reason you're here.."

"Oh my gosh," Daisy whispered. "I... I can...?"

Her answer was quickly answered as she became upset. Vines slowly trailed from her hands, snaking around Rosalina's limbs. Rosalina choked as one wrapped around her neck, the others binding her wrists in place.

"I-i-how do I stop it!?" Daisy screamed, not wanting to see her cell mate die by her hand. Rosalina continued to gag, until she opened her mouth and blew with the remaining air she had.

Another one of the comets flew out of Rosalina's mouth, and Daisy crashed against the wall once again. Rosalina fell to the floor as the vines retreated, coughing loudly.

"I'm so sorry," Daisy whispered.

"D-don't worry.. About it..." Rosalina's voice was raspy as she dismissed Daisy's answer. "We all... W-went.. Through it.."

"...I'm sorry,"

"...it's fine... You'll... L-learn how to control it soon enough..." Rosalina shakily told her.

"I... I hope so,"

"For the sake of... B-both of us... Me too."
