"What are we supposed to do?" Toadette scowled. "What can we do?"
Toadette and Dixie both stared at Birdo, who crossed her arms.
"I expect you two to have this situation under control," Birdo chided. "Fights shouldn't just be happening in the middle of nowhere."
"But that's it... Those people are all friends," Dixie protested. "They would never just attack them out of nowhere."
"That's not my problem. Just make sure this doesn't happen ever again... Or else there will be problems."
Toadette didn't believe that Birdo had no idea what was going on.
"You know what's going on, don't you?" Toadette accused. "And you're trying to pin it off on us?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Birdo responded cooly. "I don't know what's going on. Just get it fixed. Now."
"Not until you tell us what we're going up against," Toadette folded her arms. "You guys have plenty of cameras at this place. What did you do to them?"
"Us?" Birdo snickered. "We didn't do anything to them. Don't blame us for their actions. Now, figure out who has defected and eliminate them."
"Grr..." Toadette clenched her fists. She was still convinced Birdo had something to do with it, but she didn't have any evidence to back her up. So instead, she sighed, and turned around. "Fine. We'll go. Eliminate them, though?"
"Yes. We wouldn't want any threats to the other Lumas around here, would we?" Birdo smirked. "Failure to deal with it as I asked will result in-"
"...this is so unfair!" Dixie cried out. "No, we won't kill them-"
Toadette cut the girl off by dragging her out by the arm. Dixie's angry protests echoed through the hall.
"What a good, sweet, pawn," Birdo murmured. "Thanks, Toadette."

"What-! Toadette, let me go! We can't stand for this! There's no way we're going to kill them!" Dixie shouted. "Absolutely not! I won't do it!"
"And I won't either," Toadette told her quietly. "Now hush, we can't kill them if we can't find them. We'll look in the most inconvenient places ever. We can go check in the A Ward first. We'll search together, being more ineffective."
"Oh!" Dixie realized. "That's smart... I'm sorry I doubted you, I just thought that-"
"No worries," Toadette said. "I wouldn't kill them either unless I had no choice."
"W-will Birdo punish us, though?" Dixie asked worriedly.
"She technically can't," Toadette shrugged. "We're doing our job, we're trying to eliminate the issue. We just are going to look in inconvenient places."
"Oh, okay," Dixie nodded. "Let's do it!"

Daisy returned to her cell, Kaira carrying three tied up bodies behind her. Kaira lugged the three in, and then threw them on the floor. Ryan growled in pain, but Kaira glared at him.
"Shut up."
"Kaira, how do we fix them?" Daisy asked nervously. She was afraid they wouldn't be able to fix them, and Kaira would just kill them out of anger.
"I don't know," Kaira shrugged. "I could have a word with them if you want me to," her eyes glinted. "And force them to change them back."
"I doubt that would work," Daisy pointed out. "You'd likely just get punished again."
"Well then, what do you want me to do?" Kaira stared. "Don't you want your friends back?"
"Obviously, but there has to be an easier way," Daisy protested. "There always is."
"Like..?"
"Er..." Daisy paused. "Um... I'll think about it."
"Well you better think about it quick," Kaira threatened. "Or else I might lose my temper... And these three might end up dead."
"I'll figure something out," Daisy promised. "I will."
"...where's your roommate?" Kaira changed the subject.
"Oh, out. She always is," Daisy dismissed. "She's not in the room often."
"That... Surprises me. She's always in the room," Kaira scowled. "Not that she's really needed here, but..."
"Kaira," Daisy looked at her. "That was mean."
"I thought you learned by now that I'm not the nicest."

A black cloaked figure watched as Mario and Pauline stood in front of the security cameras. Kaira had long left the cell, leaving just Daisy and three tied up people.
"Is this really your idea of entertainment?" The figure rolled their eyes. "Is this what you consider entertaining?"
"Well, you like to play with your victims, don't you?" Mario countered. "A cat likes to play with its food? That's exactly what we're doing. It's rather interesting to see everyone scramble to save themselves."
"True," The figure considered. "I do like torturing quite a bit."
"Yes, Satsuki, we know," Pauline said. "You know, Birdo's wardens, Dixie and Toadette, might need to be tortured a bit."
"Oh?" The Killing Princess smirked. "Sounds like a good time."
"Hopefully it'll keep you busy for awhile," Mario muttered. "We aren't allowing you to go on a killing spree anytime soon."
"What a shame," She sighed. "Will you at least let me see the one causing you all this trouble in person?"
"Sarasa?" Pauline asked.
"So that's her last name," Satsuki mused. "Daisy Sarasa. From what I've heard, she's rather troublesome."
"Yes," Pauline murmured. "She is."
"You wish to see her?" Mario raised his brow.
"Of course," Satsuki smirked. "After all, anyone who tries to disrupt this facility takes my interest. This is my home, and it's hers too... As long as she doesn't anger me. If she does, her home will be in the ground."
