You guys are the best. Not even kidding. Kinda felt like I was on my deathbed when I read the comments XD thanks for all your support! ❤️
"So that's what I have to do?"
"Yup. Failure to do so will result in-"
"Yeah yeah, you told me already," the redhead shook her head irritably. "I'm aware. Daisy will die."
"Good. Just making sure you understand," Pauline sneered. "Be prepared, Kaira. This may be a challenge you won't be able to fulfill..."
"Yeah, right," Kaira laughed. "If that was true, you wouldn't put the newbie's life on the line."
"And why wouldn't we? She's just a newbie, after all."
"You're right- not even with super intense power," Kaira countered. "In fact, she's weak- so why are you scared of her?"
"Scared?" Pauline chuckled. "We are not afraid of a weak newbie-"
"You are, though," Kaira replied. "I can tell. Ever since you made Toadette and I train her up, I can tell you and the leader are afraid. Why?"
"I don't owe you an answer to an inaccurate question," Pauline responded cooly. "Just don't fail, and you'll be fine."
"That's fine with me. Just know that I know you guys need Daisy just as much as you need Saiko and I."

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoooooooosh!" Saiko giggled, watching as the water swirled on the tip of her index finger. She sat at the cafeteria table. "Fun, fun, fun.."
"What a weirdo," some girl muttered as she walked by.
Saiko paid no attention to the many people whispering, just to the water that weaved between her fingers. Channeling it back to the tips of her fingers, she froze it, smiling as it sharpened to frozen icicles.
"Hey, Saiko," Mona greeted, sitting down on the other side of the table. "How are you?"
"Great! How about you?" Saiko questioned cheerfully as she stroked the icicles with her other hand.
"Good. Saiko, I thought you might want to know-"
"Ooh!" The icicles melted and water spilt onto the ground as Saiko climbed on top of the table, eagerly waiting Mona's response. "Tell Saiko!"
"Er-um..." Mona stammered. "Well, Kaira is having a complete battle tomorrow by herself. I thought you might want to watch?"
"Oh! Yes, yes, yes! Saiko wants to watch Kaira slay all the monsters!" Saiko grinned, clapping her hands together, the chains from her severed handcuffs clanging together. "Saiko and S-"
"In any case," Mona interrupted. "You should come sit with me tomorrow. Cool with you?"
"Totally!" Saiko giggled. Water trickled down from her wet fingertips and formed a puddle on the table. "I can't wait!"

"Focus... And... Now!"
Daisy slashed the head off of the Piranha Plant. It was a small feat, but she was getting there. After all, Daisy never gave up.
"You're getting much better," Toadette smiled as the glass layer evaporated. Daisy sheathed her sword and turned around towards them, smiling. "I'm proud."
"Well, I owe it to you guys!" Daisy grinned, gesturing to Toadette, Dixie, and Kaira. "Without you guys, I'd be dead... Literally."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Don't get caught up in the mushiness," Kaira grumbled. "You have improved a lot, though. For sure."
"Definitely! You can actually handle yourself now!" Dixie giggled. "Before, you were just so... So.. Weak! And now you're...You're..."
"Strong?" Toadette questioned.
"You're... Less weak!" Dixie finished. "So, hurray!"
"Oh, thanks... I love being less weak," Daisy became slightly dejected, but brushed off the comment. "It's alright. I can get better."
"Don't push yourself too hard, though," Toadette advised. "You don't want to end up exhausted when it's actually time to fight."
"I did that once!" Dixie exclaimed. "One time, I ate so, so, so many sweets and I wanted to train! I got a cramp and I felt like I had to throw up because I didn't wait in between! So then the next day, I trained really really hard- but when my fight came, I was exhausted! I won by a sliver. Of course, that was still in my newbie days, so..."
"Ah, the newbie days," Toadette sighed in memory. "Back when I was just a scared little kid..."
"Lucky," Kaira responded. "I don't remember the days when I wasn't here."
"I came here when I was eight," Dixie recalled. "I had no idea what was happening! I actually don't really know how I survived. Probably because the enemies weren't as strong back then."
"Man, so I'm going against the epic monsters already?" Daisy groaned. "I'm getting ripped off!"
"You don't want to see the epic monsters," Kaira told her. "I've fought many when I was younger. I fight easier monsters now- I don't really know why. The monsters are just less hard."
"Maybe for you," Dixie whined. "Not for us!"
"No... But their difficulty level definitely changed," Kaira justified. "They used to be a lot harder, to the point where I would be on the brink of death. And then all of a sudden, they just... Got so much easier."
"Hmm... That's weird," Daisy tapped her chin. "I dunno."
"...that is strange.. Why would they stop it..?"
"Probably because no one could survive," Dixie laughed. "I'm glad I wasn't there at that time."
"What if that's actually true, though?" Daisy frowned. "And that's why Kaira and Saiko are considered the strongest?"
"Well whatever happens.. I'm definitely going to be fighting one of those monsters tomorrow."
Hellooooooooooooo!!!
So yeah I'm still on my hiatus, but... I'm back for at least a little bit. I'm not really sure if I'll leave again, but if I do... I'm sorry.
What kind of monster(s) do you think Kaira will face?
See you guys soon. Thanks for reading.
