Dixie and Toadette were sleeping soundly when they heard a loud knock on the door. Frightened, Dixie switched between human and monkey as she sat up. Toadette growled in annoyance.

"First a Code Red, now this? I just want to sleep."

"I'll get the door," Dixie said, her appearance finally fixating itself on human. "Don't worry about it."

Dixie opened the door, surprised to see the orange princess behind it.

"Daisy-"

"I have to tell you something. It's urgent."

"Daisy, can't it wait until the morning?" Toadette yawned. "Or at least until the Code Red is over... wait. You just walked to our room during a Code Red?"

"It's a long story," Daisy shrugged. "But it's about Satsuki."

Instantly, Toadette went on alert. Her eyes narrowed and she jumped out of bed.

"What'd you find out?" Toadette interrogated. "Did you find out who she is?"

"...take a seat, Toadette," Daisy took a deep breath. "You guys aren't going to like it."

"No, I will," Toadette's fists clenched. "I'm going to like ripping her throat open and killing her slowly. Who is it?"

"Toadette, calm down," Dixie soothed. "Daisy, who is it?"

"It's..."

Oh god, why can't I tell them? I need to tell them.

Daisy thought back to what happened..

"You're right," She smirked. "Because I'm not Kaira... I'm Satsuki Kaira Reiko. Sorry, Daisy. I tried to keep my identity a secret from you, but it was too late. Whoops."

Was this breaking her privacy?

After all, Kaira and her were friends... this was practically backstabbing.

No, there is no pity for a murderer. Absolutely none. They deserved to know.

"Satsuki is..."

Why won't the words come out of my mouth?

Why can't I bring myself to say it?

Why, why, why?

What's wrong with me!?

"Daisy, calm down," Dixie said. "Slow down and tell us. No rush."

"I'm... trying," Daisy breathed. "It's just so.... it's just so horrible."

"Who?" Toadette asked impatiently, grabbing a water bottle and drinking some.

"Guys..." Daisy took a deep breath. "Okay... it's... ugh...Satsuki... is Kaira."

There was dead silence.

"What?" Toadette demanded. "Daisy, this is not a funny joke."

"I wish it was..." Daisy replied bitterly. "It's not... it's Kaira. It's been Kaira all along."

"What do you mean? She'd never do that," Dixie cocked her head. "This is just some misunderstanding, right?"

"No! It's- Kaira is Satsuki," Daisy shook her head. "S-She is... I swear. Kaira is Satsuki. I saw it with my own eyes. Luigi and I saw her."

"A-are you sure?" Dixie asked. "Daisy, it's been a long day... maybe you're seeing things."

"Please... believe me," Daisy whispered. "It's the truth. She's..."

Crush.

The water bottle was crushed in Toadette's hand, her other hand clenched in a tight fist. She dropped the bottle, the water spilling onto the ground.

"I'm sorry, it's Kaira you said?"

"Oh shit," Dixie breathed. Daisy was slightly taken aback by Dixie swearing, but she had to put that aside for a moment. "Toadette-"

"Yes... I'm so sorry," Daisy shook her head. "I didn't want it to be like this-"

"I'm going to kill her," Toadette snarled. "I'm going to kill her! She's going to pay. She's going to pay..."

"Toadette, no-"

"How dare she. How dare she. She killed him," Toadette growled. "She fucking killed him! How is that acceptable? Absolutely not. She's- going to die-!"

"Toadette!" Dixie stopped her. "I know you're angry. You have every right to be. But Kaira is our friend. Not just any one of our friends. She's one of our good friends. I would never let you do that to her-"

"Dixie," Toadette turned to the girl, a serious look in her eyes. "She killed Toad... She killed him! Friend or not... she killed my brother. He deserves justice."

"Hey, we don't know everything!" Dixie protested. "Maybe we're not seeing the full picture-"

"I don't care about the full picture," Toadette shouted. "I only care about the facts. My brother is dead. It's her fault. He deserves to have justice. He shouldn't have to be forgotten. He deserves to be remembered and praised, but he'll never get the chance because she killed him! Oh god."

Toadette turned her head away. Daisy never thought she would ever see the stern girl cry, but losing a sibling would definitely trigger that reaction from anyone.

"I know where you're coming from," Dixie soothed. "But it's not right. At least give her a chance to explain herself before you rampage on her."

"I...fine," Toadette sighed. "But we all know that I will not hold myself back if I have to."

Hey everyone... wanted to get another update out. Things have been... rough today, so I'm surprised I even got anything out. You know somethings wrong when you'd rather be at school than home.

Anyway, enough about me.

Question of the chapter: what do you guys think of Kaira being Satsuki?
