"Heheh! You can't catch Saiko!"

Saiko laughed cheerily as Toadette chased her around the halls.

"Get back here, Saiko! My fans are not a toy!"

"What do you mean!? Of course they're a toy!" Saiko shouted. "They have spikes on them! Everything fun has spikes!"

Kaira, Daisy, and Dixie all watched as they chased each other around. Dixie clapped in amusement.

"Such childish behavior," Kaira shook her head. "It shouldn't be tolerated."

"Then why aren't you scolding them?" Daisy questioned.

"They're allowed to have fun," Kaira said. "I'm just-"

"Boring?" Daisy suggested.

"No. I'm just a warden."

"Saiko is, too-"

"Hush."

"Hehe!" Dixie giggled. "Some people just aren't meant to be childish."

"Yeah, I guess so."

The girls watched as Toadette walked towards them.

"I give up," Toadette sighed as she took a seat next to them. "She's too fast."

"Yippee!" Saiko jumped into the air. "Saiko wins! Saiko loves winning! What's Saiko's prize?"

"Hmm... Dinner's on me?" Kaira suggested.

"Sounds good to me," Dixie smiled. "Free food!"

"You were going to get free food either way," Daisy pointed out. "It was just either Saiko or Kaira paying.."

"Hush. We're eating out, which we haven't done in a while," Dixie said. "And... Food."

"Haha, true."

The next morning, Dixie was reliving the heaven she had last night.

"Oh... That.. That food was so good..." Dixie mumbled. "That banana split, too..."

"She's in some sort of food coma," Toadette sighed. "I don't really know why I'm surprised.."

"Hey, Kaira, Saiko," Daisy greeted as she and Rosalina sat down. The four were all sitting in the cafeteria, eating breakfast.

"Hey," Kaira mumbled, eating some french toast. "What's up?"

"Nothing much," Daisy answered, taking a bite of her bagel. "Got no sleep last night, though."

"Oh! What were you doing?" Saiko questioned cheerfully.

"Remember, we were all up last night?" Daisy yawned. "I stayed up later than that."

"Well, that's on you," Kaira shrugged. "Not me."

"I'm going to get more food!" Saiko stood up. "Be right back!"

"I'll go with you," Kaira said. The two quickly left.

"...you're so social..." Rosalina commented. "I... Could never be that social..."

"Maybe you could, you just don't know how," Daisy suggested. "I don't know.."

A girl with brown hair tied into two ponytails angrily sat down. A diamond birthmark was on her left hand.

"Er... Are you alright..?" Rosalina questioned awkwardly.

"I'm fine," The girl glared at the floor. "She's just... Ugh! She's so irritating! Do you know how close I was to killing him? And then she had the audacity to stop me!"

"Uh.." Daisy and Rosalina didn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry for you...?" Daisy said.

"You are..?" The girl looked up suspiciously.

"Yeah.. I know how hard it is to get.. Your kill interrupted..." This time, Rosalina spoke. "It's the absolute worst..."

Daisy was wondering why these two were able to sympathize over this. More importantly, she was wondering why she was friends with someone who could sympathize over that.

"Yeah! I just... Ugh!" The girl sighed. "Thanks. Having someone to relate to really helps."

"Yeah, of course..." Rosalina replied. "I understand.. It sucks to have that..."

"Definitely," the girl nodded. "...my name is Akane. Akane Fujimaro. What about you guys..?"

"I'm Daisy, and that's Rosalina."

"Nice," Akane said. She eyed Kaira and Saiko, who were returning to the table. "I'm going to go now, but it was nice to meet you guys."

"Yeah... See you around."

The two waved goodbye as Saiko and Kaira sat down.

"I thought you couldn't socialize?" Daisy pointed out.

"I can now... Apparently."

"I heard there was a fight that happened during yours and my battle," Bowser commented to Luigi- who'd woken up five minutes ago.

"A fight?" Luigi yawned. "Who?"

"The warden, the red haired one," Bowser frowned. "Kaira. And some guy. Must be an idiot to try to fight her."

"Wow..." Luigi mumbled. "That's insane."

"Yeah. They said a lot of people weren't really watching our fights because of that," Bowser shrugged. "Doesn't surprise me much, though."

"Wait- no one was watching?" Luigi was surprised.

"Well, I'm sure some people were. But Kaira was causing quite the scene, so.."

"I see..."

It was in that moment that Luigi decided he did not like Kaira one bit.

"She tried to mug me," Ryan's eyes narrowed as he paced down the hallway. "She should've been in trouble! I was just delivering justice. Some messed up world this is."

He glared at the floor.

"O-oh, s-sorry-!"

The two collided, knocking both of them to the ground. Aquelia quickly stood up, offering a hand to Ryan.

"U-um, I'm sorry- I wasn't watching where I was going-!" Aquelia stammered.

"Whatever..." Ryan pushed himself up, rejecting her help. "Just watch where you're going."

Aquelia watched as the boy walked down the hallway angrily.

"S-sorry..."
