"...we need to destroy those Grand Stars!" Daisy exclaimed. "We can finally leave if we do that!"

"Do you know how many times I've tried?" Kaira raised her brow. "There's no way. I've been searching for so long and I've found nothing."

"There's got to be a way to find it. Some way to escape," Daisy argued. "They'd have to make that available."

"Why would they want us to escape?" Kaira questioned. "That doesn't make any sense. Come on, Daisy. Use your brain."

"I...I'm trying. I'm just trying to help."

"I..." Kaira sighed. "I know you are. I'm just... Frustrated, that's all."

"Yeah, that's understandable..." Daisy fiddled with her hair. "But what can we do...?"

Kaira ran her fingers over her scar.

"I don't know."

"What do you think?" Pauline purred. "What should we do?"

"Hmm..." The head of the prison tapped his chin. "I don't know."

"You don't- you don't know?"

"I'm not against the idea of putting them together again."

"But you saw what they did-"

"Yes, and now that they know they can't escape, they won't try again," the leader responded. "...besides, both of their fighting skills have suffered since being separated- and that's what the audience loves- them to be at their finest."

"I suppose you're right," Pauline sighed. "But I can't just hand it to her."

"I trust you'll come up with some sort of challenge?"

"Definitely."

"Hi, Rosalina," Daisy greeted as she walked back into her cell.

"Daisy... Way to freak me out..." Rosalina commented. "I thought you died.."

"I'm sorry!" Daisy apologized. "Why did you think I died?"

"Cause you didn't come back... I watched Dixie and Toadette... Walk by... But not you... So I figured... You were with Kaira..." Rosalina explained. "And I..."

"You figured she'd killed me?"

"Y..yeah.." Rosalina scratched the back of her neck, embarrassed. "You... Know how she is.."

"True, true..." Daisy tapped her chin. "But I found out some good things today from her, so that's always good!"

"Oh.. Nice.." It seemed as if Rosalina had something to say, but she kept it to herself.

"Rosalina, can I ask you something?"

"...you just did..."

"Well, besides that," Daisy facepalmed.

"Go for it..."

"Okay. Well, my question is... How often do new people normally come here?"

"What do you mean...?"

"Like.. How often do newbies, like myself, show up?"

"It's pretty often..." Rosalina responded. "Maybe like... A person per two weeks..?"

"Wow..." Daisy breathed. "So other people showed up even during my stay here?"

"Yes... I'm sure Toadette... Has a lot of training..."

"Oh, that's right. Does Pauline send all of the newbies to Toadette?" Daisy asked.

"Most of them... A few go to Dixie... But most to Toadette... You could ask those two."

"Alright... Did you get your training from them?"

"...no," Rosalina looked away. "No... I did not."

Daisy didn't want to push it any further, so she quickly changed the subject.

"Alright... Um, did any newbies go to Kaira? Or Saiko, when she was here?"

"No... Those two would kill anyone near them who aren't close... They're not... Very restrained... When it comes to killing.."

"Oh.. So how come I'm not dead?" Daisy questioned. "Kaira helped to train me a bit."

"She must've taken... A liking to you.." Rosalina stated. "She only helps... A few people."

"Oh. Well, I'm glad she picked me, I guess?"

"You should be... You'd probably be dead without her."

"Ah."

Daisy and Rosalina were running into a lot of topics that neither of them wanted to talk about today. Rosalina sensed Daisy's discomfort.

"Sorry..." Rosalina apologized. "You've gotten very far though..."

"No, you're right..." Daisy sighed. "But I'm glad she's helped me. It's a fact. I definitely would've died if she wasn't here."

"Don't worry... Most people go through that.." Rosalina assured. "You go from not being able to fight... To being forced to do so..."

"True, I guess," Daisy smiled. "I've got another question."

"Of course you do.."

"Do most newbies survive?"

"Hmm... Maybe like... Half and half.." Rosalina answered. "Some do.. And some don't."

"Wow..." Daisy breathed. "I didn't really think anyone ever lost to those monsters."

"Plenty of people.. Do.." Rosalina told her. "Even... Regulars do... The monsters get much harder when... You make it to the top.."

"So... Basically, this torture never ends? We always have to go through this? Until we die?" Daisy cringed. She was a former high school student- not even twenty. Doing this until she died? Those monsters were going to get a lot tougher. Would she be able to hold out? She hoped so.

"Don't worry... I believe you can do it..." Rosalina assured. "You're strong.. You'll be fine.."

"But what if I'm not?" Daisy sighed. "What if I-"

"Believe in yourself a little more.." Rosalina told her. "You're going to need confidence.. If you ever want to succeed in anything."

"That's good advice," Daisy acknowledged. "Thank you."

"...you're welcome.."

So I'm going to reopen my OC Submissions thing. If you already made a character, you're welcome to make another, but I'm only accepting one of them- the better one (Duh..)

It'll be posted again right after this chapter. It'll close once the Saiko arc finishes since that's when OC's will come in.

So.... Basically, what im saying is that even if you're OC "made it in" already, it can be taken out if you made another one I like more. Every person only gets TWO entries- and im keeping track, so don't think you can trick me! I kinda encourage you to add two, so I have more options!

...I updated at 3 in the morning. I'm obsessed with this book.

That's all! Thanks for reading.
