Chapter 32

Saiko quickly blocked the crown's path, twirling her scythe and the crown flew across the room. As soon as she did, the crown suddenly floated back to Rosalina's hand, as if being drawn there.

"What- Rosalina!?" Daisy looked at the girl, very confused. "Why-?"

"Must eliminate," Rosalina tilted her head slightly, smiling. "Why didn't you die already..?"

"What-?"

"Normally things die on my very first hit," Rosalina sighed. "What's wrong now..?"

"Stay back, Daisy!" Saiko warned.

"No, I'm going to help you!" Daisy argued.

"Fine, but Saiko's not responsible for Daisy getting injured!"

Daisy pulled out her rapier, and it glinted in the light. Rosalina smirked, and pressed the red jewel on her crown. It quickly transformed into a single shotgun.

"Don't act so cocky, Saiko Paath," Rosalina told her. "You're not the only one here capable of fighting."

Rosalina uses two long range weapons? This shouldn't be that hard... All I have to do is-

BANG!

Saiko's scythe quickly blocked a bullet aimed for Daisy's head. Daisy stared in shock. She hadn't even seen the bullet- how-?

"Pay attention!" Saiko shouted.

"Daisy, there's no need to hide," Rosalina coaxed. "I'm just going to be helping you."

BANG!

"Holy-!"

This time, Daisy dodged the bullet- barely. She crouched to the ground, and the bullet whizzed by. As she looked on, she saw the bullet slowly change direction and head towards her. Daisy yelped, creating a wall of vines that barely blocked the bullet. The bullet fell to the ground.

Rosalina sighed.

"Come on, Daisy. You can do better than that."

"Wh-?"

The shotgun turned back into her crown, and Rosalina hurled it at Daisy again. While Daisy was able to dodge, it sliced past her, and turned around. This time, Daisy yelped in pain as it sliced open her shoulder.

"What- wh-why are you doing this!?" Daisy shrieked. As she looked up to the taller girl, she finally noticed Rosalina's bright green eyes.

Just like the other three... What's... What's going on?

Was Saiko right when she thought that the wardens were involved...? They would've stopped this by now if this was an actual problem, right..?

Rosalina's crown zipped past her again, but this time, Daisy could tell it was a warning shot. Rosalina was just toying with her, like a cat plays with their food...

Are they... Are they testing me!?

"Rosalina, I don't know what happened to you, but you're stronger than this!" Daisy shouted.

"Nothing happened to me, Daisy," Rosalina smirked. "I'm fine."

What the... Even the pauses in her sentences are gone! Daisy thought. What happened to her!?

Wait... Is she... No... She can't be.

"Daisy, stay back! Saiko will kill her for you," Saiko yelled.

"Don't kill her! She's my friend!" Daisy defended.

But could she be... Could she be... No... But it would explain why not many people like her...!

But people would've told me. They would've told me..

Saiko did say I was friends with a mass murderer...

Is... Is Rosalina Satsuki?

Is Rosalina the killing princess?

okay, I know... It's a REALLY short update. It's 300 words short. But I don't have any more content that can go into this chapter..
