Daisy Sarasa was born with a unusual birthmark on her shoulder- a flower. When it is discovered she has it, she's immediately thrown into a high class prison that contain other people just like her. Between trying to survive the constant arena fight...
"...I created this place..." Rosalina looked away. "Mario was my... partner. It was never his idea.. although he certainly liked my idea.."
"You-"
"Let me finish..." Rosalina interrupted. "Then you can say... whatever you want to..."
"Okay..."
"Mario adopted Kaira... and four years later, I created this place..." Rosalina started. "Originally... it was just meant to be for Kaira... to keep her and her power contained... but she was getting lonely. Even with us.."
Rosalina sighed.
"I wanted to give her something... someone to keep her company. And that's how Saiko was created..."
Created...?
"Yes..." Rosalina answered, knowing Daisy was probably confused. "We... we created Saiko... she was created with her power of water and ice manipulation... which is why her power is much more potent than others... she was created to be a ruthless killer which ended up working out just fine..."
Rosalina took a deep breath.
"Anyway... I'm getting off topic... that's for another time... after awhile... I wanted to test the strength of those two. Hence why we created those monsters. They could've died... I didn't care at the time. Well, at least for Saiko... Kaira was practically my daughter. It was because of that weakness Mario was able to..."
Rosalina's fists clenched.
"Mario and I were in love. I loved him so much..."
"What happened?" Daisy couldn't stop herself from interrupting. "Why would-"
"I was still the leader before," Rosalina explained. "I lost my status... a couple of months before you joined. I woke up in a lab... my powers aren't natural... they were given to me. There's a reason some powers are more powerful than others... Saiko's, my own... we're lab created. Kaira's is unique..."
"...so why did he betray you?"
"He found Pauline. Plain and simple..." Rosalina looked away. "I was too motherly... too soft. I treated each and every Luma with care... and he didn't like that. He wanted someone who could whip them into shape... I've been betrayed by my own love... how funny."
"So that's why everyone dislikes you..." Daisy realized. "Because they realize that you forced them here, basically.."
"Despite myself caring for them, yes... they believe it is my fault. Some, like Aquelia, come to me to seek comfort as they still see me as their mom.. others, like Saiko... resent me very much. I understand, of course... but it hurts to see my children do that.."
"Oh..."
"Training was the hardest... he jeered at me... telling me that if I was just a bit stricter he would've continued on with me..."

"So from that point on... I swore to myself that I would train harder... harder and harder... so that I could be the one to kill him."
Rosalina's teeth grit.
"I was consumed by rage by the thought of my love doing such a thing... I snapped. My irresistible bloodlust came with that when I fight... and every time I kill one of those monsters... I torture it, imagining Mario."
"Wow..." Daisy was stunned into silence. "I never thought..."
"I'd be capable of it...? Me neither..." Rosalina scoffed slightly. "I hate my weakness... the Comet Observatory was meant to be a safe haven... a place to strengthen my Lumas so they no longer had to suffer in the real world... and instead... I created this place. And I never realized how terrible this world was... until I myself was placed into it..."
Daisy understood now. Rosalina had good intentions that had been turned rotten by Mario. Getting angry with Rosalina wouldn't solve anything. It would only make things worse.
"I hope you aren't angry with me..." Rosalina looked away nervously. "I'm sorry..."
"Don't be," Daisy grinned. "We're going to get out of this place.
Together."
"Really...?" Rosalina was surprised by the act of kindness. "Even though.."
"Of course," Daisy smiled, offering her hand. "And we'll do it together."

Hey everyone! I was going to try to draw Daisy doing something like that... but I'd rather not butcher how Daisy looks. I'm not very good at drawing other people's characters....
