Chapter 35

"Alright, Miss Rosalina, you've been discharged from the hospital. Take care of yourself, I've told Mario to take you out from your fight this week."

"Thank you..." Rosalina mumbled, not entirely happy about her stress-relief and her source of income being taken away. "Bye Angel..."

"Goodbye... don't do anything stressful."

Rosalina turned around, leaving the Fountain. She quickly walked to her and Daisy's cell, hoping to run into her inmate to make sure Daisy was okay.

"Ahah.. there you are, Rosalina."

This was definitely not the person she wanted to see.

What was she doing roaming the halls?

"What do you want, Satsuki..?" Rosalina looked away from the menacing Killing Princess.

"Oh, nothing..." She smirked. "Well, actually..."

"Alright, don't worry Aquelia. Things are going to be okay," Angel coaxed. "Don't worry."

"B-but what happened?" Aquelia trembled. "I-I don't remember anything.."

"Yeah, an answer would be nice," Akane snapped. "What happened?"

"Why the hell am I missing my arm!?" Ryan yelled. "What did you pricks do to us?"

"I..." Angel took a deep breath. "I'm not the right person to ask this to. And don't forget I'm stuck here too. I don't know anything."

"You have to know something," Ryan huffed, exasperated. "Like why I'm missing my damn arm?"

"I really don't know.."

"Are you kidding?" Ryan sneered. "We know you know something. Spit it out."

He pulled on his restraints, annoyed when he couldn't free himself.

"I'm going to have to agree," Akane nodded. "Tell us. Now."

"Guys, m-maybe she doesn't know," Aquelia tried to reason. "I-it might not be just-"

"Trust us, she knows," Akane narrowed her eyes. "Tell us."

Angel's eyes flashed white with anger momentarily and her wings spread, annoyed, before folding them back in, her eyes fading back to normal.

"I am going to call Kaira and Saiko in," The woman said calmly. "They will tell you what happened. And if you lash out, you will find yourself back here. You don't want to lose another limb, do you?"

Kaira and Saiko arrived quickly, to the healer's relief.

"Heya Angel! Saiko's here to help!" Saiko cheered. "What's the problem?"

"These three... you mind explaining what happened to them? I really don't know how to," Angel sighed. "They were being.. difficult, and I don't know how to handle that."

"No worries, Angel!" Saiko grinned. "We'll take care of them."

"Well, that's a relief... Good luck, I'll be back when you two are done."

Kaira and Saiko walked over to the three confused people. Two were angry, while the other was just extremely worried.

"Kaira! What the hell is going on?" Ryan snarled. "Why am I missing my arm?"

"Because of me," Kaira answered matter-of-fact. "And I don't regret it, I saved Daisy's life... Not that it's probably worth much."

"You cut my arm off!?" Ryan roared. "How dare you, you-"

"Continue raging later, wolf boy," Akane rolled her eyes next to him. "What actually happened to us?"

"Brainwashed!" Saiko chirped. "You all tried to kill Daisy! You guys almost succeeded, too.."

"I mean, I'm not sure if that's a bad thing," Ryan mumbled.

"O-oh no... I did that? Daisy knows I didn't mean to, right?" Aquelia panicked. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry...!"

"Yes, Daisy knows you didn't mean to do it," Saiko confirmed. "So don't worry too much!"

"Oh no.. I hurt Daisy..?" Akane muttered. "At least she's okay, right?"

"Daisy's fine," Kaira answered abruptly. "There's no worries about her. She's perfectly fine. You three, on the other hand... caused a lot of trouble."

"O-oh no... I didn't mean to!" Aquelia cried out. "I-I'm sorry.."

"It's okay! Saiko blames Mario," Saiko smiled. "Aquelia did nothing."

"I lost my arm because of you," Ryan spit. "I better get consultation because of this. How am I supposed to fight like this?"

"Funny of you to ask," Kaira replies coldly. "You better figure it out quick, you're on tomorrow."

"You've got to be kidding me," Ryan shouted. "They can't expect me to fight like this!"

"It's not their problem," Kaira responded. "It's yours. You better figure something out."

"Grr...!"

"So... are we going to be let go now?" Akane asked, annoyed. "Or at least anytime soon?"

"Depends on how nice Angel is feeling!" Saiko smirked. "Better hope she's feeling nice!"

"Although with the way you guys hounded her earlier, I don't think so," Kaira added. "So... guess you're all screwed."

"Oh, that's so not fair!" Akane scowled. "Why do we have to be punished for Ryan's actions?"

Kaira shrugged.

"What she does is up to her, not me."

Luckily for them, Angel was feeling... angelic and freed them. She was still pretty good, after all. But she didn't want to have to turn hostile again, so..

"EVERYONE, GET INSIDE!" The alarm was blaring. "This is a code red! Everyone, inside! Now, now, now!"

Code Red meant many things-

Blood, chaos, trouble, but most importantly,

The Killing Princess was about to strike again.
