"Daisy, wait."
Daisy turned around to see Luigi's hand on her shoulders. He's been ignoring me all this time, why is he talking to me now?
"I need to tell you something," Luigi persisted. "It's important."
"I thought I was a changed person," Daisy pointed out. "Maybe you shouldn't talk to someone who you're losing to insanity."
"Daisy-"
"Luigi," Daisy interrupted patiently. "You said what you said. I get it. I thought we could get through thick and thin, but I guess not..."
"This isn't about that," Luigi told her. "It's about something else that you deserve to know. Well, at least I think you deserve to know. We were once best friends."
"...that didn't have to change," Daisy sighed.
"Daisy, it wasn't just because of the fact you've changed," Luigi said impatiently. "Listen, if you want to continue to ignore me, then that's fine, but you need to hear this first."
"I've been ignoring you?" Daisy scoffed. "Last time I checked, you walked out on me, telling me I was a changed person. Don't try to blame me for this- if what you were saying was that important, you'd have told me earlier."
"Daisy, can you just put that behind us for a moment?" Luigi sighed. "This is really important."
"...fine," Daisy looked down. "Say it quick, and say it now. It better be important."
"Alright, but maybe you should sit down first," Luigi suggested. "It's overwhelming."

"...How many more days until it's perfected?" The leader asked impatiently.
"It should be ready tomorrow," Birdo supplied. "According to my calculations, it should work just fine."
"Perfect," The leader grinned. "We'll launch it tomorrow."
"You sure?" Pauline questioned, unsure. "That's pretty soon-"
"Sooner rather than later," The leader replied. "Let's get this started."
"Alright, it's your decision," Pauline nodded. "Who are the subjects?"
"Ryan, Aquelia, Akane, and Rosalina."
"Rosalina?" Birdo sighed. "Y'know, I don't know if that's a good idea..."
"She'll suck it up," the leader responded. "She either does that, or we get her forcefully."
"True, true.. Alright. I'll administer it into the bracelets tomorrow," Pauline nodded. "Sound good?"
"Perfect."

Daisy and Luigi sat down in Luigi's cell. Bowser was who knows where, but it fit their purposes well.
"So... Its really complicated," Luigi started. "But it's also really important that you know."
"Then spit it out already," Daisy said, annoyed. "Wouldn't want to waste time talking to a changed person."
"Can't you let that go?" Luigi muttered.
"Excuse me-"
"Anyway," Luigi interrupted the girl's growing rage. "Calm down. Let me just tell you."
"...fine," Daisy looked away. "Tell me."
"Oh my gosh, honors biology sucks so much," Daisy wailed. "It's the worst."
"Yeah, it really is terrible," Luigi sighed. "It sucks."
"Come on guys, it's not that bad," Peach tried to reassure her friends, who just stared at her.
"Are you kidding!" Daisy yelled. "It sucks! It's terrible!"
"I really don't think it's that bad," Peach coaxed. "It could be worse."
"I don't see how."
"Well, think about it.. You could be in AP biology," Peach pointed out.
"True... Alright! I'm going to do my best in this class from now on!"
"Thats the spirit!"
"I don't know how to say this," Luigi said awkwardly.
"I don't know what to say," Luigi looked down. "You shoplift?"
"Yeah, but not on a daily basis or anything," Daisy shrugged. "I only do it sometimes."
"I.... Don't know what to say," Luigi looked to the ground. "I can't believe one of my best friends did that..."
"You should give the stuff back!" Peach exclaimed, once again being self-righteous. It was a good character trait, but also an extremely annoying one. "That wasn't yours to take."
"Well, it's not like they even noticed," Daisy shrugged. "Must not have been that interesting if I was able to steal it easily."
"But still!" Peach protested.
"Listen, Daisy, it's not like we're going to tell on you or anything, but no more, okay?" Luigi looked Daisy straight in the eye.
"Okay, fine, fine..." Daisy huffed. "I'll stop."
"Promise?" Peach asked.
"Promise," Daisy replied, her fingers crossed behind her back.
"Just tell me already... It's probably more important than my old habit of shoplifting," Daisy told him.
"Alright... I did tell you I would tell you. I'll do that now."
"Good."
"I'm about to tell you a secret. You have to keep it, okay?" Luigi looked around to make sure no one was there.
"Of course," Daisy nodded. "I won't tell anyone."
"Okay," Luigi took a deep breath. "I'm in love with a girl I've never met."
"What?" Daisy was utterly confused. "What do you mean?"
"What I mean... Well, I had a vision," Luigi confessed. "And I fell in love with her the moment I saw her."
"Oh."
"Don't tell anyone, please," he begged.
"I promise. Geez, I would never tell anyone!"
"Do you remember my brother, Mario?"
"Yes."
Luigi took a deep breath.
"He's the leader here."
