Daisy collapsed onto her bed as soon as she got to the cell. Rosalina stared at Daisy from her own bed.

"...how'd I do..?" Daisy questioned tiredly.

"...wasted a lot of time... There was a much easier... Way to kill it..." Rosalina stated. "All you had to do was..."

"I know.." Daisy's voice was muffled by the pillow. "Jump on its head. I realized it too late..."

"...you had a lucky... Win.." Rosalina said. "Good job... That's better than... Some."

"Thanks?" Daisy muttered. "I'm tired... I'm going to sleep..."

"No you aren't!" Toadette barged in. "What do you even call that win? There was a much easier way to kill that thing! You should've barely broken a sweat!"

"Toadette, chill," Dixie told her. "She's a newbie. She'll learn."

"I just don't want you to die," Toadette told them. "That'd be most unfortunate."

"Well, I for one think that we should go celebrate Daisy's victory!" Kaira chirped. Daisy's mouth opened and closed at Kaira.

"You know what... Fine. Whatever, let's go... You coming, Rosie?" Daisy questioned, sitting up.

"Nah.. I Need to save my..LP," Rosalina stated, staring at the TV. "Could really...use a laptop."

"Okay... Wait, I don't have any money!" Daisy panicked.

"Yeah, you do! It's in your account- er, your bracelet. You earned it from winning your battle," Kaira explained cheerfully. "Now come on, let's go!"

Before she knew it, Daisy found herself at a restaurant. Not fancy or anything- everyone was talking loudly.

"Hmm.. Do the battles in the arena happen daily?" Daisy questioned.

"Yup," Toadette sipped from her sprite. "Every day."

"Do a lot of people die in them?"

"More so then you would think," Dixie said grimly. "Once you get up there, the monsters get incredibly hard to fight."

"Oh... Who's gotten the highest so far?" Daisy asked.

Dixie and Toadette glanced at each other, watching as Kaira glumly picked at her food.

"...A really long time ago, Saiko and I used to battle in the arena together.." Kaira said dreamily. "We were the most fierce.. We went by the name Bloody Hell. We used to tackle the most fierce of enemies with ease.. Nothing was a problem for us."

"Wow... What happened?"

"...I don't want to talk about it," Kaira picked up her glass of wine and began to drink.

"...underage drinking..?" Daisy tilted her head in confusion.

"They don't care here," Dixie explained. "As long as we're happy," The last part was put into air quotations. "We can never be happy here."

"What a great thing to tell her," Kaira said, setting her empty glass down. "Scare the newbie off."

"Would you like some more, Kaira?" A pale waitress with short white hair questioned. Kaira nodded, purposely not looking at the waitress as the waitress poured more.

"Thank you, Boo," Kaira nodded appreciatively as the waitress left. "Just warning you, you might have to come back in a couple of minutes."

"Got it," Boo nodded. "I'll be back."

"Daisy," Kaira chugged some more wine down. "Life is tough here. Sometimes you just need something to get rid of the pain."

"R-right..."

Daisy wasn't used to seeing Kaira so out of it- so drunk. It was strange. The normally alert and stern girl was calm and more carefree.

"Maybe we should get you to bed before you turn her into a alcoholic," Toadette suggested. "Can't have our newbie die so soon."

"Yeah, that's true. Alright Kaira," Dixie said. "I've got the bill. You guys get her to her cell."

"Alright. See you later," Toadette dragged Kaira from her seat. "Come on, let's go."

"I wanna stay here and drink," Kaira protested. "I feel so carefree."

"You can be carefree.. Away from public. Remember?" Toadette whispered.

Kaira sobered almost immediately.

"...right... Fine," Kaira wielded. "Let's go."

After dropping Kaira back off at her cell, Daisy headed back to her own cell. She fell back onto her bed, exhausted.

"...had a long day...?" Rosalina questioned.

"...how often do you guys usually fight..?" Daisy questioned tiredly. Rosalina shrugged.

"Whenever they want us to... They'll let you know the day before.. But they always have two... People a day.."

"Oh.."

"And they usually do it by.. Cell mates.." Rosalina said.

"Wait.. Did you go today?" Daisy asked shocked.

"Yeah.. 30 minutes before you.."

"Oh, I'm sorry! I should've watched-" Daisy apologized.

"No... I'm glad... You were preparing... Instead of watching..." Rosalina looked away. "It was a... Messy.. And gory fight.."

"Then how come you don't have any injuries?" Daisy asked.

"Not for me.. For that creature..."

"...oh."

It was silent for a bit.

"Good night... Daisy."

"Good night, Rosalina."

"I'm excited for tomorrow's fight," Pauline mused. "What do you think?"

"...me too," the head of the prison answered. "...make it a double fight."

"Are you sure? I'm not exactly positive they've learned their lesson. This might fuel to their fire," Pauline purred.

"I'm sure. Make it a double fight."

I've kinda been devoting my life to this book XD I can't stop writing! I love it, heheh. I'm really bad at keeping secrets, so it's been pretty hard for me not to spill what's happening in this book. It is kind of like an anime in a sort considering I'm doing it in "arcs" but not really XD

This is the start of the Saiko arc, which was actually supposed to happen later in the book but I couldn't help myself. So... Yeah! Hope you all like the story :)

Btw, OC's won't be in the book or confirmed until this arc is finished. Yeah; that's a pretty long time, but Uh.... More time to contemplate, I guess?

Who do you guys think Saiko is?

Thanks for reading! Hope you all enjoyed!
