Selena's POV

The tug I felt was slightly stronger. It felt more like a man's touch than a woman's. I turned around to see it was a man... but I thought he was a dead one.
I thought I killed him... Apparently not. Having flashbacks going through my head, I winced as he struck his hand towards me.
"Let me help you," the man said, hand out offering help to get up from the ground. I grabbed his hand as he pulled me up as if I weighed nothing. He was wearing a heavy jacket, ripped pants, and a hat covering his face. I leaned towards him to take his hat off, but he jerked away before I could touch it.
"Look, I know I have a lot to explain to you. I'm so sorry that I did what I did to you, an accidentally killed your father, but killing yourself isn't the answer. I know you saw a certain woman in there and knew that she was a somewhat odd person, but killing yourself so that you won't have to live with her is a little ridiculous. I know you obviously won't take up on this offer, but I promise you that if you do decide to live with me, then I'll sober up and promise to never touch you again. I underst-"
I stopped the man once I realize what he was talking about. He's crazy if he thinks in going to live with him when I just found out my mother wasn't dead and he raped me, and killed my father. The man's whose funeral I had to go to today. I couldn't believe what he was saying. Wow. Before thinking I responded, "Uncle James... Why did my dad lie about my mom? And why did you hurt me so bad?"
He shook his head, disappointed in himself. Tears starting streaming down my face as I still was trying to hold back the tears. There was no point. I let them fall. Fall more and more and more by the second. No weeping. Just... tears. There was no going back. I turned around to the cliff. "Goodbye," I told the man I once knew. Before I knew it, I felt my body falling.
He yelled down to me, "Everything will be alright. Just..." I couldn't hear him as I felt my body splash into the water.
