A/N: Because we all need some fluff in our lives...
Connor sighed as he pressed a button on the remote and turned on the TV, the light eliminating from the screen slightly illuminating the otherwise dark living area. He then plopped himself on the couch right next to his boyfriend, who nuzzled his head into the boy's bony shoulder in return. Evan was anticipating the opening number for The Little Mermaid, a movie he had loved and cherished since he was a kid. But Connor had chosen something a little different on this rainy, boring Saturday night.
He didn't want to scare Evan by telling him before he turned on Stranger Things, but Connor felt like he'd made a mistake as soon as the theme song played. Evan's eyes widened in sheer terror, once the logo appeared on the screen in its ominous bright red outlining. Jared had told him about this show, and he had really scared Evan with his in depth descriptions of how the monsters killed the little boy.
"C-Connor..." Evan looked up at the other boy with wide worried eyes.
"Ev, it's okay." Connor's lips pressed against his lover's forehead, which was warm to the touch. "The first episode's not that scary, I promise."
Once he realized the kids were only playing an innocent game of Dungeons and Dragons, Evan's shoulders sagged and he felt slightly safer. Maybe Connor wasn't lying. But then again, you could never fully trust Connor Murphy, especially when it involved watching something scary.
And, just as Evan had suspected in the back of his mind, a big banging noise came from the TV speakers and almost scared Evan half to death. He screamed as he pulled his head under the covers and Connor couldn't help but laugh a bit.
He peeked his head under the fleece blanket, his hair falling over his shoulder. "It's okay, Ev. It's not even a real Demagorgon. Or, not yet at least," Connor's smooth, soothing voice always made Evan feel better, no matter what situation he could possibly be in. "I'll turn it off if you really want," he went to grab the remote but Evan was quick to shake his curly blond head. He didn't want to turn down another of Connor's movie nights. Even if this technically wasn't a movie.
Evan ended up falling asleep right in the middle of the first episode, completely exhausted. Connor smiled at the sight and leaned back on the couch, gently placing Evan's head on his lap and running his long fingers through his boyfriend's soft curls until his was lulled into dreams as well.

Evan was woken up 4 episodes later to a pleasing smell wafting from the kitchen. He smiled to himself, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and cracking his back as he sat up straight.
"You know you look adorable when you're asleep," Connor said nonchalantly as he slid back into the living room, a plate of warm cookies in hand. Evan just hummed in response, his eyes lighting up like a child at the sight of the fresh baked goods.
"Yeah well you're just a-adorable all the time so..." the blonde drifted off as he bit into the warm, gooey goodness and couldn't help but sigh heavily. "Omigodthisissowhathowdoyoueven?"
Connor couldn't help but chuckle as Evan grabbed another handful of cookies. "I guess i'm just magic."
"Yeah, I guess, I guess that makes sense," Evan just nodded, stuffing more cookie into his mouth as if he was afraid of ever loosing the memory of the heavenly taste.
Within the next 20 minutes the plate with about a dozen cookies had mysteriously been emptied of its contents (Connor only having about 4 and Evan instantly feeling bad for being greedy but they just tasted so gosh dang good that he couldn't not) and was left, forgotten on the floor while they buried themselves under the blankets again and continued with their Stranger Things adventure. That is, until Connor had another idea.
"You know, you missed so much of the content when we fell asleep earlier," he said out of the blue.
Evan, sure he's slowly slipping into a food coma, just nodded. "Yeah."
Rolling his eyes slightly at his boyfriend's obliviousness, Connor leaned in closer to the blonde's ear. "Maybe we could...do something else?"
The smaller boy turned his head just enough that the tips of their noses touch. "Like what."
But a second later, Connor's lips were on his, and Evan got it.

A little while later, and they we're back under the covers again, except they'd collectively agreed that their escapade with Eleven and the Upside-down had to sadly end, because Evan had basically missed out on the entire first season. So they resorted to some random baking show on Food Network, although neither were really paying any attention to it. Both were instead lost in their own minds though, still slightly dazed from the events of what felt like moments ago.
That is, until Connor turned his head again, with a new idea.
"Ev?"
"Yeah?" his boyfriend croaked back, about to drift off into another peaceful slumber.
"I'm hungry."
Evan giggled a little, then kissed Connor's nose and got up, heading into the kitchen to find them something else to eat.
Fluff is always needed in any oneshot book, no matter the ship. And no matter how bad I'm feeling, fluff always makes me feel better. Gotta love some fluffy fluff.
I'm going to post some sort of gif or picture in every chapter, because I could stare at gifs all day long. It will probably be of Evan, or Connor, or both, or maybe Jared...
