That next Monday Ameera would get ready and go to school, she was still a little on the loopy side, but she had to go to school. Today she did light makeup, all black but comfortable clothing, heel boots, and she just took her hair out of the braid it had been in and shook it out. Therefore she was ready in a timely matter. She came down the stairs with all her belongings and sat at the dining room table.

"Hey, mommy." She sat her bag on the floor next to her chair. Stevie turns around and sees her daughter in a good and better feeling state

"Hey, baby girl. How are you feeling?" Stevie gives her a big smile as she comes up to her to feel her face.

"I'm okay" she pauses a little "I think." She kind of shrugs.

"Hmm" Stevie was still checking her temperature and coloring to her face. "Well, no fever but you're still a little pale." Stevie kisses her on the forehead. "You should be okay, and if you don't feel good later you can call us."

"Sure can and I'll be there in an instant." Lindsey assures walking in from down the stairs. "Hi, beautiful." he kisses Stevie on the lips and she enjoyed the flavor of his lips more than she normally would have. He pulls away and she pulls him in again and this time her lips were over powering his. She pulls away giving him a small smirk. He knew that look and it got him excited. Before he could say or do the wrong thing in front of the wrong person, he walks up to Ameera.

"Hi, precious." He hugs her tightly kissing the top of her head.

"Hi, daddy." He looks at her a second longer. "You look pretty."

"Awe, thanks daddy." She hugs him.

"Less makeup." He figures it out. "I love it." She smiles, she had to admit she loved wearing less makeup, but she also loved to darken her eyes and such.

"Are you hungry?" Stevie asks Ameera. She nods her head no. Stevie didn't think she'd want anything but she asked anyway.

"Do you have money?" Lindsey asked and she nods her head yes. "Good, if you get hungry, you can something."

"I will, daddy." She looks to both of them, "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." She rubs the top of Lindsey's hand for reassurance and gives her mom a sympathetic look.

They hear a knock on the front door. It was odd, no one ever came during this time of the morning. Lindsey gets up and answers it.

"Oh, hey. Come in." Lindsey leads Karen in.

"Thanks." She walks in, "Hey, ladies." She sits down next to Ameera.

"Hey, what are ya doing her so early?" Stevie asks as she puts a cup of coffee in front of her.

"Nothing, I was up early so I thought I'd just come over and take Ameera to school."

"Thanks, aunt Karen." Ameera says smiling.

"Yeah, thanks honey." Stevie also says smiling.

"No problem." Karen takes a drink of her coffee as she looks at her watch. "We should go, don't wanna hit traffic."

"Okay." Ameera stands up, grabs her things, hugs her parents goodbye and heads out with Karen.

"Bye, honey." Stevie waves and Ameera does the same.

Once they leave, Stevie pulls Lindsey in to her with one arm wrapped around his neck and the other around his middle. She kisses Lindsey very passionately, they kiss a long time and finally she pulls away from him.

"Take me upstairs, please." He could see the need in her eyes. He looks at his watch;

"Oh, we got time and since you said please..." He picks her up bridal style and carries her up the stairs. They didn't have to be at the studio till ten and it was only seven.
