"Oh, um- we went to dinner and the park for a little bit," Ameera almost hesitated but didn't.

"That's nice, baby." Stevie felt a little suspicious in the way her daughter spoke, but she was still a little weak to figure it out, so she didn't want to try.

Stevie went down the stairs to go and tend to whatever mess Lindsey was creating in the kitchen.

"What's going on?" Stevie asked as she slowly made her way into the kitchen.

"Stuff," he smiled.

"Is it stuff I'm gonna have to clean after you're done?"

"Probably not,"

"Oh?"

"I ordered breakfast when you got in the tub and that's because I don't trust my amazing cooking skills to feed you and my children," he says as he rubbed her tummy a little.

Stevie let out a laugh and launched herself into Lindsey's arms, "you are so cute! I love you so much."

"I love you, too," he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head. He knew ordering breakfast out was a better idea, rather than his horrible cooking skills and he knew that would probably be a better idea considering Stevie's state.

About twenty minutes later, Karen comes with food and Ameera was descending from the stairs.

"Hey, aunt Karen?"

"Hey, sweetie."

"I thought you ordered food?" Stevie asked Lindsey.

"I did but, I needed someone to pick it up because, I didn't want to go and we couldn't have it delivered."

Stevie chuckled as she took the food from Karen and pecked her on the cheek, "I'm sorry," she said through a smile.

"No, it's fine. It gave me a chance to see me favorite niece before she goes to Arizona," Karen smiled as she pulled Ameera into herself.

"Thanks," Ameera giggled. "How much longer is that line gonna work, since there will be two of us?" she looked up at Karen.

"Well, if it's a boy you'll still be my favorite niece," Karen assured.

"And if it's a girl?" Ameera asked knowing it couldn't possibly be, but to keep her dad out of the loop.

"You'll always be my favorite."

Stevie giggled and then felt a slight kick in her stomach, "Whoa! Could you tell Baby Buck over here otherwise? Because, he-she's definitely not wild about that answer." Stevie was careful with her statement, not to say 'he' again.

Karen comes up and touches Stevie's tummy. She pats it slightly, "I mean you'll both be equal," she says through a chuckle and then winks at Ameera and she giggles.

"Can we eat, please?" Lindsey semi hollers. "I thought you were hungry," he asked Stevie.

"I am," she giggled. "Are you having couvade syndrome?" she teases.

"What the hell is that?"

"You know, sympathy pains?"

"Well, no I'm not. I just didn't really eat yesterday."

"I'm sorry, baby," she walked over towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on his jawline.

"It's okay," he chuckled and pat her arms around him.

"Okay, well-  let's eat, we have to go soon."

With that, everyone took a seat and Stevie brought in plates for everyone to eat and they all ate moderately quickly.
