"How are you feeling, doll?" Stevie asks Ameera.
"I'm tired and my head hurts." She tries to sit up.
"Don't get up. What do you need?" Lindsey asks.
"My purse, I don't know where it is." She sat up to scan the room for it.
"I don't see it. I'll go see if it's in the front or something." Lindsey leaves the room to find his daughter's bag.
"Thank you, daddy!" She shouts as he walks out.
"So..." Stevie looks at her daughter as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"So, what?" Ameera asks.
"I have questions but lets start with, how did you fall?"
"I was leaving knitting class, I was on my way up to fourth, when I got to the top of the stairs I felt really tired and really flimsy if you know what I mean." She looks at her mom and Stevie nods. "I prayed I'd make it and then it went black."
"How are you really feeling now?" Stevie asks.
"Much better, really." Ameera nods
"Really?" Stevie leers and Ameera shrugs.
"Yeah, I guess. I don't know anymore. I feel like I've gone insane."
"It's alright, sweet girl." Stevie rubs her knee. "By the way, if your father starts questioning you, it's because he knows." Stevie didn't wanna forget to her.
"What? He knows about-"
"No, no, no. He doesn't know about Osmond, but he knows about your little performance this morning."
"Oh, good. I was about to have a heart attack. Why'd you tell him?" She wasn't worried her mom told she was just curious.
"Don't say that." Referring to.a heart attack. "Anyway, I had to tell him because he thought you were sick for a whole other reason."
"Okay, mom. As long as he doesn't know about the other thing. Ya know?"
"Yeah, I know." Stevie hugs her daughter and moments later Lindsey walks in.
"Here, sweetie."
"My purse! Thank you, daddy. Thank you, thank you, thank you." She says very happy that it was in her possession because she was worried about her journal more than anything.
"Your welcome, honey." He chuckles a little. He knew it was pretty much glued to her, usually.
"Where was it?" She asks.
"The nurse that handed it to me, said the boy that came here with you, brought it." Ameera looks confused. "Did you know him?" Lindsey asked.
Ameera thinks to herself really hard. "Hmm, I have no idea." She lies because she has an idea but she would never say it out loud. "I don't even remember fainting." Which was true. "I just remember walking and struggling a bit, then it going black." From that statement Lindsey got off the who brought you, question and asks how she was.
"Why do you think you fainted?" Lindsey asked.
"I don't know." Ameera shrugs. "I just felt tired, I guess." She paused, "By the way when can I go home?"
"Well, the doctor says you should stay the night." Lindsey says.
"Why?" She sort of exclaims
"Relax, doll. They wanna make sure there is nothing else the matter with you." Stevie tried to calm her.
