When they arrive to the school, it wasn't nearly as early as it usually was when they normally dropped Ameera off. She didn't want to be too early and look too eager to be there, but she did want to be there on time. She looked at the school and her stomach turned a little. She didn't realize how much more nervous she was until now. She knew she was nervous, but she didn't know she was that bad off.

"You okay, doll?" Stevie asked.

"Um, yeah. I think," she creased an eyebrow not really believing, what she said herself. She paused for a moment, taking in the new surroundings.

'You're gonna be fine,' Osmond whispered, feeling her hesitation.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," she assured. She sat up from the back seat and hugged her parents. "I love you, so much. Please be safe and take care of each other," she could feel tears in the rims of her eyes.

"We will, honey," Lindsey assured.

"And take care of my brother... or sister," she rolled her eyes at herself for saying that.

"I will," Stevie assured. "We love you, have a good day," she said nodding. Making sure her daughter understood she was telling her and not asking her.

"I will," she assured. Ameera then opened the back seat door and let herself out shutting it and waving at her parents, before walking in through the front gate of the school.

Stevie stayed staring at her child through the window and placing her hand over her belly. Lindsey placed his hand over Stevie's left hand, which pulled her from her thoughts. She looked at him and he had a gentle smile on his face.

"She'll be fine," he kissed his wife's hand.

She nodded and he drove off once they didn't see their daughter anymore.

Ameera looked at the small schedule that was given to her on Saturday. She looked at it and at her surroundings trying to remember where each class was. She'd not been their since the beginning of freshman year. That wasn't during a tour or anything, but her parents and her had been in town for the summer and part of the school year due from visiting. She was now at the end of her junior year and she couldn't remember all that well. And again, she'd only be here temporarily.

She takes another look at her schedule and the mini map on her booklet. "Where the heck is building eight?" she mumbled to herself, making sure the map wasn't upside down or anything.

"Do you need help?" a boy asked.

She jumped a little from hearing the somewhat familiar voice. She turned around and saw her old friend- Houston. "Hey!" she exclaimed, crashing into him for a hug.

"Hey, how have you been, girl?" he asked embracing her.

"Ugh, alright," she smiled. "I've not seen you in a while, how about you?"

"Oh. Ya know, same old, same old."

"How's the ranch? I know you and your dad were working on it when I left."

"It's good," he smiled, becoming lost within her eyes. "Anyway, Rebecca told me you were in town and I figured you'd be early, so I thought I'd come to show you around again."

"Oh, thanks. That would be great. Nothing is how I remember it," she looked at the map again.

"That's because, they remodeled the school. The nonsense things are fixed and the things that should have been fixed are still messed up."

"Ah, I see. Budget cuts?"

"Yeah... they could have saved and had meaningful things fixed," he shakes his head.
