Ameera and Houston had invited Rebecca to join in on their horse back riding lesson, but she declined because, her parents wanted to go out of town for the weekend. Rebecca was bummed because, she would have loved to come. But Houston promised he'd take her.

"Okie dokie! Here you are, honey," Jess said to his granddaughter as he pulled up to Houston's ranch.

"Thanks, grandpa," she smiled and kissed him on the cheek before hopping off the truck.

"No problem. Should I pick you up or...?" he asked before she shut the door.

"Uh, I think Houston can drop me off. If not I'll call."

"Alright, be safe and don't fall off, please. Your parents will kill us if you get hurt on our watch."

"Okay," she smiled and laughed a little. "I'll be careful. See ya!" She shut the door and ran to the front door. She knocked and Houston's father answered.

"Hey, little lady," he said tipping his hat. It was cowboy hat and he was wearing a red flannel, tucked into his jeans.

"Hi, I'm here to meet Houston."

"Right, he told me you were coming. Come in," he said, stepping aside for her to walk in.

She allowed herself in and looked around. Their ranch was really nice and almost mansion material, though it was pretty country.

"Let me show you the way." He walked in front of her and showed her to the back of the house. When they were outside it was a huge piece of land. And there was a small farmhouse, someways a part from the house. "He and his brothers are probably in there messing around. They're supposed to be doing chores."

"I see," she smiled.

When they get over to the small house, Houston and his brothers are tackling each other and totally messing around, as his father had said.

"Hey?!" his father yelled and all the boys froze. "This young lady is here for you," he cocked his head sideways, pointing out Ameera.

"Ooh, is that her?" his older brother said. He tipped his hat and walked toward her.

"Who am I?" she asked.

"The girl, he don't stop talking about."

"Shut up, David." Houston said as he shoved his oldest brother. He looked at Ameera with a smile and was trying his best to apologize with his eyes.

Ameera giggled.

"Pleased to meet you," Jackson, Houston's middle, older brother said to her. He kissed her hand after he shook it.

"Alright! Lay off, loverboy," their father said as he pulled them in the direction of the house. "Nice to meet you, young lady," he smiled.

"You, too. Thanks," she said as he dragged his sons away.

"I'm sorry," Houston said taking off his hat.

"It's alright," she laughed.

"They're a bunch of pains in the ass. I'm sorry my dad brought you out here. I thought my mom was home. I was hoping she'd bring you here. My dad seems to unnerve people," he said, scratching his head. He was hoping she'd forgotten what David said about him talking about her.

"It's fine, he seemed... nice," she hesitated and he chuckled. Ameera could tell he was a little taken back because of his family. She didn't plan on teasing about what David said because, their situation was on the direction of recovery and she didn't want to make it worse. "So, how's this?" she showed him her outfit, to get his mind off of his family.
