Stevie wakes up first in the morning, which was odd for her. She looks at the clock and checks the time. It was four a.m. she shrugs, because she couldn't really sleep, she was wide awake. She clips her hair atop of her head, decides to take a hot bath before getting ready for work. A while later she gets out and puts her silk robe on. She walks over to Ameera's room and nudges Ameera awake. Ameera opens her eyes.
"Oh my gosh, am I late?" She sits up quickly. She wasn't used to seeing her mom up so early. They whispered back and fourth.
"No, no. You still have time." Stevie chuckles. The only time Stevie ever came to wake her was if she was about to be really late, otherwise Ameera would awken on her own.
"Oh, good." She looks back at her mom. "Are you okay?" She looked at her mom a while.
"Yeah, I just couldn't sleep. I took a bath, trying to kill time." She laughs. "Oh, your father." Stevie says as she sits on the bed.
"What about daddy?" Ameera pauses and thinks, "Oh my gosh, what does he know?" She was whispering in a panic.
"Nothing, but he has been picking up on me coming to your room at night."
"Uh, oh." Ameera says. "How do you know?"
"He asked me last night. I was really tired, so I just played it off like I fell asleep." The girls giggle.
"Thank you, mama." She embraces her mom.
"You're welcome, sweet girl." She hugs her daughter back. "You and I have to be more careful. We have to think of something to tell, I'm sure he'll ask me again."
"Hmm." Ameera thinks. "Maybe tell him, you're helping me with a writing project." Ameera suggested.
"Maybe." Stevie rubs Ameera's back. "Why don't we start getting ready. Then I'll go and make breakfast."
"Okay." Ameera agrees and heads to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face to get started on her face. Meanwhile Stevie is applying makeup and combing through her hair and looking for an outfit to put on for the day. She wasn't really feeling herself so she put on something comfortable; leggings, comfy boots (not heels), and tank top and an oversized black sweater. After getting herself ready she woke Lindsey, like normal.
"Baby?" She shook him slightly. "Linds?" She whispered.
"What?" He sounded muffled because his face was in his pillow, Stevie giggles.
"Get up, honey. Get ready." He gets up. He flips over and stretches out moaning from his stressed muscles.
"Another day, another dollar." He finished stretching. She pats him on the stomach.
"You're right; 'another day, another dollar'." He sits up listening. "So get up, if we miss another day, we aren't getting another dollar." He laughs taking the covers off himself. He pulls Stevie into himself, he kisses her deeply on the lips, laying her down atop of him.
"You're so beautiful." He hugs her tightly looking down at her.
"You're not too bad yourself, Buckingham." She giggles as he is releasing her from his embrace. "C'mon, get up." She pats him on the leg as she heads out. She makes her way down the stairs to the kitchen to begin breakfast. As she does this, Ameera is getting ready, a while later she is dressed and collecting her belongings to make her way down the stairs.
Before she puts her shoes on she hears a knock.
"Come in!" She yells slightly. "Hey, daddy." She slips her boots on.
"Hey, sweetheart." He walks in. Sitting next to her, he was already dressed and ready to go downstairs.
"What's up?" She asks.
