Arriving home after the short flight, Lindsey and the driver brought Ameera's things to the foyer of the house, while Stevie and Ameera went upstairs.

"Daddy, just leave everything there---I'll get it in a second," Ameera stated before moving up the staircase with her mom.

"Okay," he responded.

"What's going on, honey?" Stevie asked a little concerned.

Rhiannon jumped onto Ameera's lap immediately.

"Hey, you!" Ameera pet her cat and snuggled her closely as she began her story. "Okay, I heard you guys and grandma and grandpa talking downstairs when I went to get the baby's things..." she paused.

Her mother seated herself next to her daughter. "Mhmm," Stevie nodded.

"I didn't wanna tell you guys, but I hide enough," she rolled her eyes to herself. "So the day after Osmond came, I was in bed most of the day. You know he can feel me and my pain, well he could feel me sick. That's why he came. So he took care of me and whatever but the next day, he and I were laying in bed and I guess Houston came, but I was so out of it---I didn't know. Osmond then went downstairs to talk to him and then I went downstairs and they were fighting. Like full on."

"Oh God, well what happened? why did they fight?" Stevie asked just above a whisper.

Ameera gave a slight pout. "Member when I went horseback riding with Houston?" she kind of squeaked innocently.

"Mhmm," her mother nodded.

"Well... we kissed," she shut an eye as she scrunched her nose. She didn't know what kind of reaction to expect for doing that.

"Oh..." Stevie kind of paused. She had made that mistake a few times before she and Lindsey were married, but she told him and he was actually quite understanding despite his tempered character. "Well honey, it happens."

"Yeah... it shouldn't have though. I gave myself to Angel and I know he hurt from my mindless decision."

Stevie kind of nodded though she creased a mental brow. She understood that Osmond and her daughter did go to bed. She understood her daughter's language well and she knew what "giving herself to him" meant. "Did you talk to him?" she asked instead of other questions she could have asked. All she could really think was, Lindsey's gonna have a fit. I really hope she used protection-- well, of course she would. She's smart enough... I really need to ask but I don't want to, she seems to be in another mess.

"I did," she assured her mother.

"What?" Stevie asked.

"Osmond...?" she paused. "I told Angel," she assured. "Mom, are you okay?" she asked.

"Yeah, great," Stevie was in her own panic and foe a second she thought her daughter sas reading thoughts. "Anyway, what happened?" she asked---coming back to what her daughter was saying.

"Well, he was upset and then we made up and when Houston came the next day when I was sick, that's when the boys got into their fight. I ripped into both of them and I sent Houston home. I talked to Angel and he told me how he really felt. I cried and then we made up again, then the next day which was was when I asked if he could drop me---that day I talked to Houston and he agreed he was okay," she wagged her foot in anticipation for her mother's response.

"Well, first---did anybody get hurt during the fight?" she asked.

"Angel. Houston busted his lip and messed up his jaw. He was punching him really hard."

"Did Angel fight back?"

"Kind of. I know he knows how to fight, but didn't because of me. Plus Houston hit him first. He just blocked him most of the time. Grandpa and I stopped them before it could get worse."
