Weeks had gone by and Ameera and Osmond were enjoying each other while Stevie and Lindsey did the same. Ameera had started her senior year of high school in September and Osmond would take her in the morning to be of help to her parents. He knew Lindsey should be taking care of his wife while she very pregnant.
Stevie was a little over eight months and she was more than ready to have the baby even though she knew she needed that last month. She was also toying with the idea of telling Lindsey that their daughter finally did the deed. How she would explain that to him, was beyond her. There was no way she wanted to bring it up. And there was no way she could without him having a total heart attack. But she figured it didn't necessarily matter since this month Ameera would be turning eighteen. She figured he could just except the fact since she was eighteen---she could if she wanted to.

"So guess what?" Osmond asked Ameera.
"Hmm?" she asked with wide eyes and open ears.
"You're birthday's tomorrow..." he mentioned.
"I know you keep telling me," she giggled. "I don't think I could've forgotten this year with you reminding me."
"I wanna do something special with you," he responded. "I know you forget your birthday, but with me, you won't. I'm gonna take you out."
"Well, I think that's very sweet of you, but I don't see the point."
"It's another year of life and I don't have to feel bad if we decide to spend the night together."
"Yep and it's another year closer to death, so I don't see the celebration. But I also don't have to worry about my parents thinking bad of me. I see the highlight, but there is also a downer," she rose a brow.
He rolled his eyes playfully.
"Are you going to be this excited when your birthday comes?" she questioned.
"No," he shook his head. "I'm not special to me, you're special to me."
"Yeah well, you're special to me. So I will be sure to return your party favors."
…
Arriving home, Osmond and Ameera made their way into her house.
"Hi babies," Stevie smiled.
"Hey?" Osmond replied first with a smile.
"Hey mom, how are you?" Ameera wrapped her arms around her mother and let her hand fall to her stomach for a second.
"Both of us are good," she smiled.
"What's all this?" Ameera asked looking at all of sparkly black streamers. "Oh, you guys are horrible," she shook her head with a smile.
"Okay look, eighteen is a big number," her mother stated. "We don't have to throw a party next year if you don't want, but... after this the next big birthday is twenty-one and after that we don't have to celebrate wildly like we do."
"I appreciate it all," Ameera said honestly. "Can it be just like regular Mac, Halloween party? Those are fun," she added. "We can dress up to the max like always..."
"Yes, I figured you'd say that so invited all the people you love and your best friend..."
"You got Simona to come?" she said abruptly through a squeal.
"I did," she agreed. "She said she was coming from Texas just for you."
"Awe, that's great. I'm so excited---thank you so much. That's really the best gift," she hugged her mom. "When is she coming?"
