"Lindsey we can't take him away from her." Stevie moves away to see his face better.

"Well, what do we do? She needs some kind of punishment." Lindsey asked.

"Lindsey, I think it is enough that she is going to her grandparents' for our tour."

"Steph, even if this whole thing didn't happen- what would we have done with her then?"

"Well, she probably would have stayed home and she would be happy with Osmond, no?" Stevie asks. "He would have been her ride to school and everything."

"I'm sorry, what?" He pauses. "Did you just say; you would have let them stay here- together- by themselves?"

"Well-"

"Oh my God, Stevie!"

"It's not like it's gonna happen now."

"But, still- you had that thought." Lindsey sort of exclaims.

"Okay, look; lower your voice." Stevie urges him. "We can tell her she is going to her grandparents'-she will think it's a punishment for her behavior. Being away from Osmond is punishment enough." Stevie puts a hand on Lindsey's chest.

"I guess." Lindsey sighs. "She's gonna tell him, ya know."

"Who cares, Lindsey? He has to stay in school and she is gonna be upset by the fact she is at her grandparents'-far from him."

"Okay."

"Good. She is allowed to talk to him on the phone or write him. We cannot take him away from her. They are too in love- to do that." Stevie tells Lindsey and he just nods.

"I don't know how I feel about this 'love' thing." He airquotes and Stevie focused her attention back on her husband. "I mean; I think she is rebelling because of him." Lindsey clarifies.

"It's possible." Stevie was being honest. "I did it." Stevie shrugs.

"You did?"

"Sort of. When my dad met you- he didn't like you, he even told me- not to see you a couple times, but I did anyway." She says truthfully.

"Does Jess even like me?" Lindsey asks. This wasn't the first time he's heard about Stevie's parents' thoughts on him.

"Of course, Linds. He loves you, my mom loves you. But you have to remember- you were in a band, you asked me to join- I joined. Before he knew it we were opening for places and then after that we moved away pretty far and we had no money. He was simply worried for my well-being." Stevie states. "Just like last night- you worried for Ameera's well-being, but look she is fine."

"Well, we don't have to worry about it when she's there." Lindsey answers to her long monologue.

Lindsey takes a mini nap between Stevie's excessive one and a couple hours later Stevie wakes up. Stevie decided to go to their daughter's room to- number one: check on her and number two: tell her she is going to her grandparents'.

When Stevie approaches the door she met Lindsey- whom was standing, watching her sleep.

"You okay?" Stevie places her hands on his shoulders.

"Uh- yeah." He turns away kind of abrupt and starts to walk past her.

"Lindsey, I know- what she said hurt you. I know that everything I did was wrong and I know that all of this is just one huge mess. It's gonna take some time to fix and who knows? Maybe when we get back everything will fall back into place."

"I love you." Lindsey hugs Stevie very tightly.

"I love you, too." Stevie embraces her husband. "You're gonna probably hate me for saying this." He pulls away from her. "But, we have to give her space." Stevie says and Lindsey follows.
