Getting out of the car, Ameera beamed with happiness when she saw Simona. "Oh my God!" she squealed.
"Hey?" Simona had a bright smile as she hugged her friend tightly. "How are you, sweetheart?" she had an arm wrapped around Ameera's shoulders.
"I'm okay... I'm good," she rephrased with a smile. "I am so excited that you're here."
"Me too, I can't believe your eighteen," she smiled. "It feels like yesterday I was showing you how to open your locker and where things were," she nudged her.
"All those lessons on opening lockers didn't fall through---I never even use that thing," she giggled. "How are your parents?"
"They're good. They told me to wish you a happy birthday for them."
"Awe, that's sweet," she smiled. "You have a costume?" she pointed.
"Of course..." she lingered.
"Elvira?" Ameera questioned with a raised brow.
"Mistress Of The Dark--- you know it," Simona laughed.
"I know---of course it would be black balloon material," Ameera chuckled.
"Yep, y'know I love me some Catwoman and Elvira. I wore the Elvira costume on my eighteenth and my dad had a fit."
"I remember---I thought he was gonna kill you," she giggled.
"Wasn't my fault all the boys were pervs," Simona rolled her eyes.
Ameera chuckled.
"Anyway, have you done anything to make your parents wanna kill you?" Simona asked.
"Uh, Angel caused a mild heart attack, but that's all," she smiled.
"I'm excited to meet him," Simona responded. "I've only read everything about him," she chuckled.
Ameera flashed a smitten smile. "Anyway, he is going to get ready soon, so that must mean I am late already," she chuckled. "My mom rented rooms so let's change," she squealed.
"Alight," Simona agreed and they went on to their task.

Meanwhile Lindsey was on his way to the hall and he tried to compose himself. He just couldn't fathom the thought of his daughter being so young and doing certain things. When he got to the hall, he rubbed his face and got off the car. He handed all the cards to Stevie.
"What's wrong?" she asked in full concern.
"I did something really bad Stevie," he kind of lingered. He felt worse about reading it. Had he have just closed it he wouldn't be upset nor would he be complaining he did something bad.
"What did you do?" she asked pretty concerned because, he looked really torn up about it.
He sat down in one of the chairs and Stevie followed in his action.
She placed a hand to her tummy as she awaited her answer.
"Promise you won't be mad?" he asked innocently.
"Depends on what you did... so spill."
"I accidentally read part of Ameera's journal..." his face was a little distorted as he waited for her reaction.
"You what?" she exclaimed.
"Shh... I didn't mean to," he argued.
"Lindsey, there's only--"
"I was getting the cards and I didn't realize her journal was under them. When I pulled the stack of card the journal came down and all of her loose papers and photos fell out. I had to open it to put the stuff back in. Then I got distracted by her hand writing---just like yours by the way. Then I read the date and it just happened to open to the eighteenth of April," he stood.
