"I'll get you after school and we'll go to the hall, okay?" Osmond said as he pulled up.

"What hall?" she creased a brow.

"I wasn't supposed to tell you, but the party is at hotel and the whole floor is reserved," he responded innocently. "And don't shoot the messenger because, it was your parents' idea. They wanted it to be special for you."

"I know and I really do appreciate it, but... there are so many people in the world who share the day with me."

"Yeah, but to your parents you're the only one who matters and I'm sure your brother will get the same treatment."

"I hope! I sense a lot if parties for him."

"That, you are correct."

She looked down a minute.

"You okay?" he asked tilting her head up.

"Yeah," she assured. "Got too much in my mind for you to read. I'll see you later, okay?" she locked lips with him before getting out of the car to enter her school. "Oh, last request---I just thought about this now," she said before shutting the door.

"Anything?" he answered.

"Can you get my cards from my room. The birthday cards are on my journal. I like to tape them to the entre doors."

"Sure---I'm gonna go to your house to help your mom and dad decorate the hall. Also you don't know about the hall."

"Mhmm, thanks for the warning," she rolled her eyes. "I love you,"

"Love you too," he said before she shut the door.

She then made her way onto her campus and was being looked at as usual.

"Happy birthday!" Sarah exclaimed as she got to her friend.

"Shh...!" Ameera hissed harshly.

"Sorry, but happy birthday," she whispered. She handed her friend a small gift bag.

"Thank you," she said a little sympathetically. "You didn't have to get me anything."

"I know... and I know you're not gonna open it so I'll tell you, it's a bunch of insense and candles. I got those stones you like too."

"Awe, thanks! means a lot," she smiled. "I would put it in my locker, but I'll forget it because I don't go there. Are you coming to the party tonight?" she asked.

"Yeah, I got an invite from your mom a while ago. She said it was a surprise and not to tell you," she paused. "Do you know now?"

"I'm not supposed to, but Angel told me because he knows I don't like surprises. I just wasn't supposed to know it was at a real hall."

"Oh well, here I'll take your stuff for now and I'll just give it to you then."

"You're an icon, thanks," she giggled---handing her the stuff back.

"Who else is coming?"

"Karlie, Simona, Selma... I don't know. A few more but not sure. Anyway, don't forget to wear a costume," she pointed a finger.

"I know," she smiled.

The bell rang and both girls took that as their cue to go.

"Lunch?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah, see ya there," Ameera assured. She had began sitting at the lunch with her friends again, since Osmond had graduated. All his time was normally dedicated to working with his dad at the clinic or hospital. But when he wasn't working he was with Ameera.
