Osmond had ran into Stevie on his way from getting medicine for Ameera.
"Hey? how is she?" Stevie asked abruptly, hugging herself.
"She's..." he paused. "She's a little out of it. She had an anxiety attack," he showed her the bottle of pills.
"Oh God..." she let out a sigh. "I should probably see her."
"She probably wouldn't mind," he led Stevie to the room. "Listen, I heard the conversation between you and Lindsey. I know he read her journal. I just wanted to say sorry."
"For what?" she asked as they came to a stop.
"Well, we did take a big step early on and we never meant to. I had planned on waiting, but we--"
"Honey, it's fine. I just... the only thing I feared was Lindsey's reaction and if you used protection or not," she nearly chuckled.
"I appreciate your trust," he added.
"I know in great depth of how much you love each other and I'm sorry about how vocal the situation got. I see a big future for you two."
"Thank you," he nodded. "Alright, let's see how she's doing," he turned the knob and pushed the door open.
Simona still had her friend in a tight embrace as she watched Stevie and Osmond return.
"She's calmed down a bit, but..." Simona sort of trailed.
"Ameera, please drink this," Osmond said softly as he handed her the pill. He sat on the opposite side of her.
She took it and put it in her mouth and he handed her a glass of water to chase the pill with.
He was glad she was letting him touch her. He wrapped an arm loosely around her and rested his head on her shoulder.
"Mom?" Ameera mumbled to her mom who'd she seen in front of her.
"Yes, doll?"
"Are you gonna take care of dad?" she asked.
"Yes, I think so," she responded.
"Good, I don't wanna talk to him. I don't care how drunk he was---that was way too personal and way too big a scene."
"I'm sorry, sweetheart---" Stevie rubbed her daughter's knee. "Try and get some rest, doll. I love you."
"I love you, too---" she stood to embrace her mother.
Simona let go when she could feel Ameera loosening her grip for the first time. "I love you so much," warm tears descended from her eyes.
"I love you, so much baby," Stevie pulled with tears in her eyes as well because, she could read her daughter had plans. "Stay safe, please?"
Ameera nodded. "I'll be back soon I just need some time. For now, but I'll be back so you don't have to question that. I will call you and let you know what I plan."
"Of course," Stevie smiled weakly---stroking her daughter's curls.
"Go take care of daddy. He needs you more than me right now," she requested. "I'm gonna stay the night here, okay?"
"Whatever you want, honey," Stevie assured.
Ameera sat down on the bed and she watched her mother leave. For the first time she wasn't going with her and it scared her, but she felt the separation was intrical.

Stevie left in shreds and she tried to compose herself for the sake of her unborn child. She also needed to be strong enough to read Lindsey the riot act. She was really pissed at the fact that he did read her journal and that he drank so much. As she descended the hallway, she ran into Christine.
