Meeting

I don't know if working with what you love to do has to be this messy.  I get used to pressures from workload.  May it be time demanding or crucial decision making.  But working with Matthew is tenfolds stressful.

I learn the art of deadma.  He is persistent of our physical working theme.  Meaning, we often see each other that what should be. 

He is getting into nerves already no matter how I am cool about it.  I would even welcome myself being called the great pretender. 

I tried my very best to remain professional in my own standard of working ethics.  To the best I can, pinakikitunguhan ko siya ng mabuti.  Atat man akong tapunan siya ng matatalim na tingin pero katakot takot na pagpipigil ang ginawa ko.  I don't want to look pathetic all this time, huh?

What we have now were purely work-related business.  That's all.  Nothing more, nothing less.

But, I must admit, he has an extraordinary skills in handling business.  Always ahead.  Future driven.  Purpose driven leader.  More than his sister Wilma. 

Maybe his parents saw that character he possessed, that's why they are persistent for him to be part of the company running the hospital.

"I envision our institution as leading bearer and the heart of total wellness not just in the Philippines but in Asia.  We aim to acquire an ambitious and highly technical equipment in therapy and aid in sensitive surgical procedures." in his most serious version as he talk in the middle of the meeting with board of trustees present.  Head of every medical department were also present.

Everyone looked at him in awe on how he carry himself.  Did I mention he is a charmer too?

Matthew looks become mature and turn out to be devilishly fucking hot.  His shoulders? Well, more broader. I can only imagine his muscles from his chest and arms to be powerful.  They are just hiding from his suit.  Stop thinking nonsense Laurice. Ugh!

How can I be so daring with my thoughts in this meeting.  Napayuko ako, I don't want him to see him with how I look right now.  Mind-rape him this way!

"So I am sure Doctora Ocampo here can give us some enlightenment in this matter.  Will you?"  the last I heard, he mentioned my name.  Napaangat ako ng tingin.

I looked at him with questioning eyes.  Please you enlighten me Dr. Sandoval.  I don't know what you are talking about.

"Well, we are talking of bringing you to Germany to accompany us in verifying the acquision of those materials." Napanganga ako.  Nanunuyo ang lalamunan ko.  Shet.

Siniko ako ni Kaye.  I gathered myself that instant.  "Well, Germany is known producers of high quality medical equipment with advanced technology.  So I think it is the best choice to settle signifucant investment from it."  I have no choice but stand up and give my opinion.  Pero sa totoo lang lutang ako sa kaalaman posible ko siyang makasama sa trip na ito.

"Very well said." mukhang tuwang tuwa naman ito sa natinig.  Hindi ko mabasa ang takbo ng isip niya ngayon.  Whatever it is, I am starting to get anxious about.

I helplessly look at Kaye quitely sitting beside me.  Matthew never bothered to look at our direction na siyang ipinagpasalamt ko.

"Destiny works by itself Laurice." bungisngis na sambit no Kaye na mas lalong nagpatulala sa akin.

I wanted to pull her hair for making fun of me but she suddenly hugged me.  Tapping my back and said, "Everything will be alright.  You belong to each other anyway."
