A lot of people wanted this so here it is!❤❤

*Shawn's POV*

I sat in the studio I'm the middle of testing out different ideas for songs. My chin was resting on my hand and my eyes were slightly closed. I was almost falling asleep.

"Hey, Shawn," Andrew snapped his fingers in front of my face, "What's up? Why are you falling asleep?"

I snapped out of it, quickly rubbing my eyes quickly. "I just haven't been getting enough sleep lately," I told him. It wasn't completely a lie, but it also wasn't the whole truth.

"Shawn, you've been not getting enough sleep all week. And you've been seeming almost depressed lately," Andrew argued, "What's up? Why are you acting like this?"

I placed my hand flat on the table I'm front of me. "Because thanks to you, I'm not allowed to date DJ anymore," I snapped, "I can't sleep because I haven't seen the love of my life in weeks." My voice broke near the end and I held my head in my hands.

Andrew didn't say anything, just looked away from me.

"Sorry," I said, picking my head up, "I guess it's not all your fault. But you're definitely a big part of it."

"It's fine, Shawn. Let's just get back to work."

"You know what? No," I objected, "That's it. I'm not working any more unless I can be with DJ again. I made a stupid decision and now I need to fix it."

"Shawn, your album has to be done by-"

I interrupted, "Nope. I'm not doing it unless something changes." I crossed my arms and leaned back in my chair.

"Okay, fine. I'll talk to the people higher up," he gave in, "I'm not promising anything though."

"Thank you," I said with just a little sincerity, "And it doesn't matter wheather they say yes or no. I'm done listening to them no matter what happens. I'm seeing DJ again. And one way or another, I'm never going to leave her."

*DJ's POV*

I hadn't seen Shawn in five weeks. More than a month with no contact with him whatsoever. No phone calls or texts and definitely no actually seeing his face.

That is without searching the internet for any sign of what he was doing.

I missed him. Even though I understood why he had to break up with me, I still missed him.

But I didn't understand why he didn't fight it at all. He just went with what his management told him he had to do. Was he that scared of loosing the deal or was there something else? That's what made it a little bit hard to miss him. Knowing that he just left me like that.

I had just gotten home from being out with friends when the doorbell of our (now I guess my) apartment rang. I walked over and looked through the peephole.

It was Shawn.

I quickly opened the door for him.

"Hi, DJ," he smiled, his perfectly white teeth showing.

"Hi, Shawn," I said back.

"I thought you would be more excited to see me," he put in.

"I'm excited," I stated flatly, "I just don't really know what to say."

He wasn't smiling anymore and asked, "Can I come in?"

"Oh, yeah. Of course," I stepped aside and Shawn followed me to sit down in the living room.

"It's good to see you again," Shawn began through a bit of an awkward silence.

I nodded.

"Is there any reason that you don't seem that happy?" Shawn prompted.

I sighed, "Shawn, I've had a lot of time to think about what happened and I just keep thinking about how quickly you left me. I mean, I get it you don't want to lose you job, but you didn't even try to argue with them? You just went with it and broke up with me."

"DJ, I'm so sorry," he breathed, "I know I should have fought harder and not just done everything they told me to. I made a huge mistake and I'm trying to make up for it." There was a silent pause before he spoke again, "If it means anything, they didn't even say I can see you again. I just told Andrew I was done doing everything they say and left."

"Really?" I glanced up a little hopeful, "Even if it means losing your job? Your career?"

Shawn stared in my eyes, "I already made the wrong choice once and it was terrible without you. If they want me to leave you again, they're going to have to drag me away from you. And I would still be fighting to stay because I still love you."

I moved closer to him and our legs touched. Shawn's larger hand moved to gently hold my smaller one. He squeezed my hand and rested them on his thigh.

"I still love you too," I admitted.

"Thank god," Shawn looked really relieved as I watched him. He looked over to me and started to lean in to kiss me, but I stopped him, putting a finger in front of his face.

"We're technically still not together," I smirked slightly.

Shawn let out a short laugh, "Okay. DJ, will you be my girlfriend again?"

"Yes," I mused and Shawn went in to try the kiss again.
