Disney World (Requested)

*Y/n's POV*

The feel of the place, even from outside the front gates, was total happiness. 

A month before, Shawn, me, my best friend Y/f/n, and her boyfriend all got the idea to go to Disney World. It was a little tough at first finding a date where we could all go together, working it around all of our schedules, but eventually we decided on the perfect day. 

All four of us were waiting in line to get our tickets scanned when I felt Shawn's arms wrap around me from behind. He rested his chin on the top of my head. "I'm so excited for this," he spoke, "I get to spend the whole day with you. No work or anything like that. Plus, it's even better that we are here today. Don't they say it's the happiest place on Earth?" 

"I think that might be Disneyland but close enough," I smiled. 

"Either way," Shawn kissed my hair, "I'm still the happiest guy on Earth." 

I giggled and stepped forward since it was our turn in line. "Tickets please," the lady who was wearing Mickey Mouse ears said. 

"Oh wait, I think I might have lost them," Y/f/n's boyfriend started checking all his pockets. I looked to Shawn and saw a worried expression on his face. But then her boyfriend started to laugh. "Kidding," he chuckled and got out the tickets. 

Shawn sighed in relief, "You better be." We were all friends so the joke wasn't that big of a deal. 

After handing over our tickets, the lady let us through the gates. "Enjoy your day at Disney World!" 

From there, we started to walk around the park taking pictures with some of the characters that were walking around and going on some of the rides we passed. Shawn kept taking selfies with me and whatever character we were meeting and I thought it was really cute. 

After having lunch, Y/f/n and I were walking side by side with her boyfriend and Shawn behind us. "Isn't it so sweet how both of them agreed to come along?" Y/f/n spoke. She was referring to Shawn and her boyfriend who were talking behind us as we walked. 

I nodded, "It really is. I can tell Shawn really wants to make today special and it's adorable. We're being treated better than the princesses that are walking around here." She laughed as I did. 

"We really do have the best boyfriends," she grinned. 

"Hey, Y/n!" Shawn called from behind me. I turned around and saw a Mickey Mouse balloon in his hand. "I got this for you," he handed it to me. 

I looked over at Y/f/n thinking "we were just talking about this" and then looked back to Shawn. "Aww thank you baby," I smiled and kissed his cheek. 

The day continued to go by with all of us laughing and having a great time. Shawn held my hand and every now and then would spin me around as we walked. I loved every second of it. 

"Hey, we need to go on that ride," Y/f/n's boyfriend insisted. 

I looked up to where he was pointing and saw a ride that had a pretty big drop. My heart dropped just looking at it. I wasn't always the biggest fan of the larger roller coasters, so I was pretty scared. "Um maybe not," I hesitated. 

Shawn must have noticed how afraid I was. "Hey," he said, turning me to face him, "You don't have to go on if you don't want to. I'll wait with you here. But I think you should try it out. You don't have to like it and you might hate me afterwards, but you might actually have fun." He looked in my eyes and gave a sweet smile. 

"Okay," I gave in, "But if anything happens to me it's on you." 

Shawn laughed and reached for my hand, "Nothing will happen to you, I swear." 

And he was right. When we got off the ride, I realized I had really enjoyed it. "Shawn, can we on again later?" I asked him. 

"I thought you said you wouldn't like it?" he joked. 

"No, I do," I said, "Thanks for encouraging me to go on it." 

"Of course, love." 

When the day started to come to an end, the sky already completely dark, and all of our legs were tired from walking, we sat down together at a table in front of a small restaurant. 

"I think the fireworks are going to be starting soon," Y/f/n told. I was about to reply when a large boom sounded and the sky lit up with a big red and blue firework. All of our eyes fixated on the sky as more came. I felt Shawn put his hands on my waist and I moved to sit on his lap. A firework in the shape of a heart appeared in the sky and Shawn kissed me on the lips out of the blue. 

"What was that for?" I asked. 

"No reason," he smiled, "I just love you and seeing a heart made me think of you." 

Ugh he was so sweet. I leaned in and kissed him back before I rested my head on his shoulder and we watched the fireworks together.
