I swallowed nervously, not knowing how to respond. My hands were still over my head, my fingers intertwined in his. His blue eyes started right into mine. Never had I seen eyes as beautiful as his.

“We – we have to get ready.” Why was he making me feel like this? I shouldn't feel this way. He quickly let go of me, walking out the door. Before closing it, he looked right into my eyes with an emotionless face. He didn't mean what he had just said, did he?

Getting ready, I tried to push the thought of Nash out of my head. I did not like him. I wasn't supposed to like him. I was supposed to hate him and his damn blue eyes. I was supposed to hate him, but pretend like I liked him. Not actually like him. I didn't bother to fix my hair, so I just changed clothes. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, and a white top. Not to fancy, not to casual.

We were all ready, and made our way to a Mexican restaurant just around the corner. Nash was walking right next to me, but we didn't say a single word. We didn't even exchange smiles. Cameron was on the other side of me, and he was now trying to explain how he managed to cut open his foot at the last Magcon event. He tried to get Nash to join in, but with no success.

At the restaurant I was forced to sit next to Nash, with Aaron to my left. Cameron wasn't even close to me, making me feel very alone. I knew Nash wasn't going to talk to me, and Aaron and I had only had one proper conversation before.

We had ordered our food, and were now just waiting. As me and Aaron made small talk, I felt someone grabbing my hand under the table. I looked down only to find my fingers intertwined with Nash's. He looked down at me and I expected to see a smile or something, but no. He still had an emotionless expression. What was up with him? I tried to pull my hand away, but he was a lot stronger than me, and wouldn't let me go.

“What are you doing?” I whisper yelled at it him, not wanting the others to hear.

“Nothing.” How could he act like this? He was holding my hand under the table, pretending like he didn't do anything, and there was no smirk, or smile or frown or anything.

“What's going on with the two love birds over there?” Cameron said with a hint of annoyance, making all the guys look our direction. Again I tried to pull my hand away, but with no luck.

“There is nothing going on.” Nash said, making me even more confused. They clearly see our hands together. He should either let go of my hand, or say something else than nothing. Now he is just making all of us confused.

“But you guys are holding hands.” Taylor, who sat next to Nash, said. Everyone's eyes widened. Cameron looked at me like he was trying to tell me something, but I had no idea what.

“Yeah we are, aren't we Nash? Now why is that?” I said, still trying to get out of his grip, and this time he let go, making me very close to punching myself in the face. Nobody said anything after that, making the situation even more awkward.

During the whole dinner I was trying to understand what Nash was on to. I tried to think of any possible answer, but I still had no clue. He was starting to freak me out. But one thing that scared me even more, was the fact that I think I liked it. I felt safe when I held my hand, safe when he hugged me, just knowing he was there made me feel safer, and it scared me.

Walking back to the hotel, I made sure to stay as fare away from Nash as possible. He was walking ahead of us with Carter, as I walked further back with Cameron. We didn't talk much, but I had a feeling that he wanted to talk to me about something. It was getting late, so we all walked into our rooms. I changed into my pjs and washed my make up off before I went to bed.

The next morning, I woke up to my phone ringing. I almost fell out of bed in shock. I looked down at the caller ID but it was an unknown number.

“Hello?”

“You have to wake up sweetie!” I recognised the voice immediately.

“Cameron, why are you waking me up at-” I turned around to look at the clock. “3pm?” I continued. My eyes widened as my brain finally decided to work and realize how late it was.

“3pm! Why haven't you called earlier?!” I heard Cameron laugh at the other end of the phone.

“But the event has already started, why aren't you talking to fans?”

“You know we have breaks right?” He said while laughing.

“I'll be there very soon.” I said still feeling more like sleeping.

We hung up, and I quickly started to get dressed. Since I probably had to walk passed a couple of fans, I wanted to look at least a bit presentable. I straightened my hair, and put make up on. I wore a pair of black skinny jeans, and a white sweater. I put a necklace on, which matched the pocket zippers on my jeans.

I grabbed my phone, my wallet, my keys, and walked out.

I got to the event, and since I was a little late, I had to use the regular door like the fans. I felt horrible walking past all the fans like I was worth more than them. Since they didn't know who I was, they probably thought I was just a rude ass fan. A few of them tried to stop me, but I just pushed passed them. As I reached the security guard, I showed him my All Around pass. He let me in, and guided me to the door where the guys were. They didn't seem to notice me as they were all screaming and messing around. So this is how they spend their free time. I decided not to say anything and just wait and see how long it would take. I sat down in a couch, just looking at all of them. After a while Matt seemed to take a notice of me.

“Ayy! (Y/N) is here!” He yelled to the rest of the guys. They all came running towards me. I had only met them yesterday and this was taking me by surprise. Even Nash came running. Before I could say something, or even move, they were all on top of me.

“Are you guys drunk?” I said giggling, as they got up.

“Nope, we just love yoooou?” Taylor said as they all started running around again. My eyes widened, not really knowing what was going on.

“They tend to be like this when they are meeting fans.” A security guard said to me, sounding slightly annoyed.

“All crazy, or lovey dovey?” He laughed at this and shook his head.

“Both when there is a girl around.” We were now both laughing, but after a few minutes he walked out of the door.

“You know, instead of flirting with the security guy, you should flirt with us!” Jack G said.

“haha very funny!” I said sticking my tongue out. I was a tiny bit nervous before I got down here, but now I felt a lot better since they acted like this. It made me feel more welcome than ever.
