Alright now that I've written a very clear warning, even though those who didn't watch it will read on because they're hardheaded, let's get down to business.
First of all, Ryan Coogler has written a huge name for himself and really succeeded at bring Black and African culture into the Marvel Universe. You just gotta thank him ya know? Dude created a $1 billion dollar movie in about a month ... Like do you know how great that looks on someone's resume? Scratch that, homeboy don't even need a resume. All he needs is his name.

People will be thanking him from now on lmfao. Huge props to him.
Now on to the movie. See the reason why I loved this movie so much was because it highlighted a topic that isn't spoken about much, however it is a topic I have covered in this book: Africans separating themselves from Black people and thinking of themselves as better and more worthy. This was the basis for mostly everything happening. This is why Killmonger has such loathe and hatred in his heart for Wakanda. This is why T'Challa is so against sharing resources. This is why T'Chaka, T'Challa's father, and all other ancestors (which I will speak about later on) refused to allow outsiders in Wakanda and for Wakanda to only be for Wakandians.

And I know Killmonger is suppose to be the villian of the story ... Well Klaws was actually the villian at first because he killed T'Chaka, BUT BUT BUT Killmonger ended up being the villian because he wanted to take the throne.
HOWEVERHOWEVERHOWEVERHOWEVER *whispers* in my opinion Killmonger wasn't a villian.
DONT SHOOT ME. DO NOT SHOOT ME.
By textbook definition? Yes. He went against the king, and threatened him, and all that.
But by common sense? No. His reasons for feeling a type of way against Wakanda were valid. Like the quote said, Wakanda has the tools to help other Black people who are victims of colonization, and even those that live in Africa who don't have the same tools as Wakanda, but they didn't because, let's face it, they're selfish and privileged as fuck.
Now I don't know about the whole Marvel Universe, but since Wakanda is suppose to be the place that wasn't colonized by white people and Killmonger mentions slaves, the slave trade did happen. Which meant Wakanda just watched it happen.
Killmonger: Ya know the other ppl who look like us are ancestors of slaves

What BP did that was great was actually give us two sides of a story we can empathize with. We understand both. We understand T'Challa's fear of not wanting foreigners to come into Wakanda: he doesn't want to disappoint his father, doesn't want to disappoint Wakanda, and doesn't want to put anyone in danger. We understand Killmonger hatred to Wakanda and his family: THEY KILLED HIS FATHER FOR GOD'S FUCKING SAKE, didn't want to claim him, and he felt betrayed by the people that were suppose to be his own.
So yeah. *whispers* I also sided with him
