Fake People

You ever dislike someone because they were fake? Like everything about them was just fake. Their smile, the way they acted, just being them.

Definition of being fake (As defined by urban dictionary.):

A fake person is someone who is not genuine and will do whatever it takes to make themself look good. They will take credit for other's work or down play the good of others to illuminate oneself.
Fake people take part in hipocrisy, lies, and will turn off friendship the moment it no longer is a benefit for them. They will change their personality to fit in to a certain group.

Basically fake people are ... Well fake.

I don't know about you, but I don't like fake.

But what some people confuse fake with being tolerant.

Let's say you don't like this person. We're gonna call them Annoyia. Now Annoyia is what her name say. Annoying. But you being you learned that you can't be mean. Well not to everyone.

Annoyia is person who doesn't even know they're annoying. But you do. And everyone else.

So you don't like her because she's annoying. Which is okay.

Annoyia comes up and say hi. You say hi back.

Immediately people say that's being fake.

No.

You're tolerating her. It's being polite to say hi back. Being fake is acting as if you're her best friend, but then talk about how annoying Annoyia is to other people when she's not around.

That is indeed being fake.

But the biggest question around being fake is why? Why act fake? That's just bringing a bad reputation on you. And when no one wants to be your friend and hang out with you, you start to wonder. Was it really worth it?

But there are so cruel people out there. And being fake is their lifestyle. They think it's funny. They don't care. They only care about themselves. They do it to benefit themselves.

And there are people who do it because they want to be accepted.

Ya know those movies where the maim character acts a certain way in order to fit in with the popular crew? (Example: Camp Rock with Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers)

That's called self-esteem issues. They feel as of their real self isn't good enough for people.

If you're that way, then anything I said about being cruel is not towards you. You just want to fit in. Want to make friends. And I just wanna say fitting in isn't always a good thing.

If I wanted to fit in, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

So be yourself.

And for the others who do it because they're cruel.

Stop. Just stop. You're hurting people and you're gonna be by yourself in the end.
