Why the title sounds like the column for a newspaper? I swear I could pick up a New York Times newspaper and it'll be in the opinion section. Maybe I should be a columnist...
Anyways, hellurs there. I'm Iesha, your ranter, and I'll be serving a dose of straight up facts today. Trust me it's really good.
Alright so Facebook. It's where our family members comment how big you're getting and how beautiful you look even though you're like I look like I've been stressing for days. Oh wait, not you? Guess that's just me.
I remember when I got my Facebook. It was a long, six years ago. I begged my mother, yes I begged. I was on my knees. I told her these exact words:
Please Mom! I promise I'll only use Facebook for games.
God I lied.
Well at first that's all I did. I played Café World, and Mall World cause my sister, aunt, and mother played. Yeah I had friends but as we know they're not really our friends. We only accept their requests cause they go to our school and you've seen them in the halls like once or twice every week. So why not?
That was when I'm 10. I'm now 16. And boy during them six years lotsssss has changed.
Now we have videos of twerking, cats falling off couches, memes, and most importantly... Life Stories.
This is where the personal part comes in.
Alright I understand Facebook being the most nicest, compassionate person out there asking How's your day? because you know damn sure probably nobody else asked you. You feel overwhelmed. Emotional. Someone finally asked.
Then you go off. Like when I say off, I mean off.
Now I've seen everything. Possible there's more to everything.
People talking about the fight they just got into (or the video itself), throwing obvious subs at other people on their timeline, talking about how single and lonely they are, whether they should get an abortion or not...do I really need to say anymore?
I just believe that stuff like that should be kept to yourself.
Don't put your fighting business up there. No one needs to know you hate her Bonquisha looking ass. I honestly don't care. Handle that on your own time. Why do people need to know that you're tired of this one person or you gonna knock some sense into this person's head? To be honest, I find it childish asf.
If you put everything on Facebook you're bond to get into more problems. For example, the person you just fought, well her cousin saw it and wants to fight you. And her cousin...well just got out of jail.
I don't know. But I believe you don't wanna deal with that cousin.
Abortions?
Too personal.
I understand you want advice on the situation but that should stay between you and your family. Not random people who you probably don't know cause you just added them because you saw them one day.
If you want to message your friend using the Messenger app be my guest.
But I think talking about your life choices, especially when it comes down to you making a choice for you and a little human (Yes I just said that), that's a personal matter.
Which means. Too personal for Facebook.
Now memes, relatable posts...those are for everyone.
Yeah them fights are interesting. But we see it as entertainment and never think about how it could affect the person's future. Cause like who cares? It's not me. But if we really thought about it you'll ask yourself, was it necessary for her to put up the fight she was in and talk shit about the other person. That's between them two. Not between you, her, Facebook, and the Bonquisha looking ass.
And we know of that one person who thinks of diary like a Facebook...
Wait.
Shit.
People who think of Facebook like a diary.
Okay that's right.
Facebook is not a diary. It's where you put how you're feeling, a funny story, a quote, pictures of yourself and of friends and family. Where you connect to friends and family who don't live in the same state as you. Where you find funny pages or entertainers, and like your favorite celeb pages.
Not a diary.

Just saying guys.
Agree that facebook isn't a diary?
Or think it's justified?
