In addition to all this fake concern, the media isn't helping at allll. The way I'm looking at this shit, corona virus is an EXTREMEEE cold and more so affects the elderly and those that have respiratory illnesses. Younger people have a larger chance of getting over it. The media keeps mentioning the deaths but not mentioning the over 60,000 people that have recovered and while death is never a good thing to hear about, the mortality rate is 3%!!! The 3% bring those who are elderly and have a respiratory illness!!!
And then I was saying how these public schools wanted to try their hardest to keep their schools open and basically say "oh just wash your hands and you'll be okay" but CLEARLYYYY that shit not working. What they need to say is "if y'all have been CONSISTENTLY washing y'all hands, y'all be okay". I was raised right so I really don't care. Which is bad but hey 🤷🏽♀️ don't care.
Literally just got an email from my school saying our campus is closed tmrw because someone tested positive for the virus and they have to thoroughly disinfect everything. She was only in school for one class last week, Thursday evening so they saying the risk is low BUT UM LMFAO I WAS IN SCHOOL LAST WEEK, THURSDAY EVENING.
I should really take advantage of them $60 round trip airfare tickets then if that's the case.
