Koda's Thoughts

It was eleven o'clock when I got back. I tried being silent since I thought the boys were gonna be asleep, but once I got the door a little ajar, I heard them all jamming out. Jesse's voice was it's usual rawness as well as the sounds of the instruments. They were spinning up the web to their song, "Wires", when I stepped in. I stood in the shadows, just waiting to see what they would do next. Jesse cut off and waited until Jeremy started the killer guitar hook to a song that provoked more than just the usual eeriness that NBHD songs provide. I immediately felt the jolt in my stomach when he reached the chorus.

"Touch me yeah..."

I was loosing myself in the poison of their music. I closed my eyes and was about to bite my lip when I remembered I can't.

"Oh hey, she's back."

The jamming stopped with the few taps of Bry, and Mikester's bass after Zach spoke. I laughed nervously and quickly got anxious. What would they think?

"Well come out of the shadows Babygirl." Jesse spoke. I stepped up to the kitchen bar and stopped. I hardly could look at them. But they sure as hell were looking at me.

Jesse's Thoughts

I

Couldn't.

What I saw amazed me and turned me on so bad. I looked around at the guys who were just as agape as I was, then back to blatantly staring at what I saw.

When she said she was going out, I assumed it was to clear her head or straighten things out with her parents. No. Instead, her four-hour escapade brought her back with her left eyebrow pierced, a nose ring on the same side, and spider-bites on the right side of her bottom lip. She got a new chain choker-necklace like the two others she already had, and all new earrings for the ten total piercings she already had on her ears. She smiled at us and I nearly died.

"What?" was all Zach could manage when he decided to speak. Koda's eyes flickered for a moment like she was suddenly having regret for her decision. But when he smiled and approached the counter, the look of fear in her eyes diminished. "Woah baby. You look amazing!"

"Thanks." she laughed. " I was just a little upset and was thinking about this for a while so i did it."

"Mmmmm." Z groaned. She blushed.

"Well, I'm gonna go put on some pajamas." Koda answered after running her hand down Zach's arm slowly. "You're free to join me."

"I think I will." he said. She walked down the hall with a small bag in her hand, leading Zach on. He trotted after her until they both disappeared with the shutting of the bedroom door.

"Wholly shit." Bryan was the first to say what we were all thinking.

"She looks so cool like that." Mikey said. " The piercings and her stitches really make her look badass."

"Not to mention her choker necklaces and clothing." Jeremy added.

"I think she looks good." I said.

"Oh for shit Jes-Jes. You thought a lot more than that." it was Mikey. He was the only one that ever called me "Jes-Jes".

My face burned a little, but I played it off with a laugh. "What do you mean?"

Bryan laughed. "Come on dude, you openly gawked at her worse than Zach did."

Was it really THAT obvious? I thought to myself.

"Oh come on, we're just playing."

I sunk a little in my chair. "Yeah."

We shared a good little laugh before things settled. I pulled my IPad/Laptop out with my headphones and was setting things up when the three remaining gents decided to go out.

"We'll be back." Mikey said as he ran a hand through his hair.

"You wanna come Jes?" Bryan fluffed the collar of his jacket

I shook my head. "Nah."

"Whatever you say. Have fun." he, Jer, and Mikey all left, leaving me to my work and our guitarist to his.

Mmmm, those piercings.
