When we got there we were greeted by Dr. Manfreid who held paperwork as he left Koda's room.
"Oh, just in time." he perked. "The release papers are a go so she's ready."
"Cool, thank you so much." We said to him before he nodded and went on his way.
"Okay kiddo." Jesse said as we entered her room. "Get dressed." He sat her bags down in front of her. Her eyebrows furrowed then she looked at us.
"What?"J nodded. "Just get dressed."
She stood, taking her bags to the bathroom.
"I hope she likes it." I said to him.
"Oh she will." He reassured.
We sat around for a minute before the door came open and she stepped out.
Her brown hair was a little rugged, but cool. Her eyes were popping with the dark colors around them from a little make-up. Her earrings (ones which we bought while we were out too) went all the way up her ear since she has peircings going all the way up. She wore the black leather jacket we also got over her netted black, white, and blue Tee of Johnny 3 Tears we found. Her white jeans fit her well, and her boots that we got (that match my own black pair) drew the whole thing together. She had a blue bracelet on her wrist too.
"I really like this." She said tugging the jacket and pulling out the shirt to look at her favorite H.U man and moving her legs. "I mean, I REALLY REALLY like this."
We all nodded, unable to do much more. At least I wasn't able to.
"Thank you."
"Alright." Jes broke us out of our silence that was getting awkward quick. "We ready?"
"Yeah." Koda stared right at me, her smile radiant and big. I was so taken aback, all I could do was grin goofily at her until the guys around me stood and we started out.
"Holy shit." Bryan whispered.
"Wow." Jeremy said.
"What are you guys mumbling about back there?' Koda said, slightly turning her head.
"Nothing." I said all too quickly. Those famous emeralds flashed at me as we went into an elevator.
"Excuse us." She said as we crowded in. Four other people were already in there so it was crunched. Jeremy, Bryan, and Mikey squeezed in to my left, Jes to my right, and Koda was right in front of me. The elevator went up one floor where two people exited. There was only a slim window of un-claustraphobicness before four more people came in. But who was I to complain when Koda stepped back to allow more room and was practically on pressed against me.
"Sorry." She said.
"It's no problem at all." I said. Bry, Mike, and Jer all looked at me and smirked as I grinned. The elevator jolted and went down until we got to our stop and got off.
"How'd you feel being in the corner Zach?" Jeremy whispered to me.
"Shut up." Jesse popped him in the back of the head. Jer looked over at him then continued on his way.
"So," Jes said once we reached the car, taking her bags and putting them in the trunk. We walked around to get to our spots; he in the driver's seat, Koda behind him, and before I could get in the back with her, the other three purposely slid in beside her.
"Oh no, Koda, you up front."
"No, I'm fi-"
"Koda." Jesse stared at her through the rearview mirror until she got out and went to the front, placing me in her old spot.
"So," the car started. "What do you wanna do babygirl? Do you wanna get your things today or..?" he trailed off there.
"I want to get it over with, so we can go today."
"I mean you don't have to if you don't want to. We can go some other time when you feel comfortable." Mikey offered behind her. She turned her cheek to us; the stitched protruding painfully and the skin achy and red.
"Nah, I don't want to put it off and make it worse."
"I'm sure you know the adress." Jes asked.
"Yeah."
He handed her his phone. "Put it in the GPS and we'll go from there."
She typed it in then we began our journey.
