*Kaya's POV*
I was lead into a room with two chairs in it, and I sat in one of them at the exact moment that Louis opened the door, grinning like always.
"I have here some flashcards," he said. And he was right.
"I see," I said.
"I'd like you to tell me how the horse on the card is feeling, and if it would be safe to approach it."
It didn't seem too terribly difficult. I was no expert on horses, but I was fairly certain I'd be able to tell the difference between if a horse was planning to attack me or wanted me to brush it.
The first one he held up was a black horse, with its ears perked up and its eyes wide and alert.
"Well, since its ears are up and eyes wide," I started, "It looks alert, like it senses something." It sounded okay.
"And would it be safe to approach it?" Louis prompted.
"Um... sure," I said.
"Good," he said, and I relaxed a little more.
He held up a second card.
"Its eyes are squinted," I said, "so it might be-"
I was cut off when a loud explosion from outside rattled the ground and the lights went out.
